The bluette fell on a bed a started giggling. "Pipe down will you?" Gray asked patiently laying on his bed as he flipped through the pages of a book titled 'The scarlet letter.' "Gray, its almost dinner time~!" Juvia cheered happily, bouncing off each wall every single second. "Oi, Juvia watch out for the- " Gray yelled at Juvia as she ran around everywhere and finished his sentence by saying, "-lamp...." In a matter of seconds Juvia had tripped over a lamp, broken it to pieces and started crying for the 'dead' lamp, making it have a small funeral which mostly consisted of Juvia crying. "LAMP-SAN! WE WERE SO CLOSE! EVEN THOUGH WE NEVER SPOKE!" Juvia yelled at the top of her lungs mourning for 'dead friend.' From across the room the slightly embarrassed Gray face palmed and fell backwards onto his mattress letting out a loud sigh along with it. She lifted up her head, tears in her eyes and stared at Gray sternly. "You did this...." The bluette cried getting worked up. She marched over the raven haired man and rested her eyes onto his, hardly blinking. "Whats wrong with you?" Gray asked dumb founded by Juvia. "You killed lamp-sama...." Juvia fell to her knees crying for the tragic loss. "I'm just gonna go to the dining room for dinner... Bye." Gray hesitantly backed away and after 5 metres he dashed out of the room closing the shōji door behind him.

The ice-make mage made his way through the traditional japanese house and into the dining room where he was greeted by a familar face and a couple of strangers. Gray felt a small tugging behind him. He turned around to see, Juvia smiling at him. He smiled back and turned back to the dining room. "We have been expecting you." The chief of the village spoke up, as she stared at them leisurely she gave off a rather innocent and sweet smile. "Oh how rude of me, this is Levi and Eren. They're are some of the finest soldiers our town has ever produced." The two men both bowed in unison showing great smiles towards the two. "Nice to meet you." Juvia grinned bowing. The two sat down and begun to stare at the enormous amount of food that was placed right in front of their eyes. Gray looked to the side to see Juvia drooling slightly over everything. He hit her making her instantly realise what she was doing and Juvia reached for a napkin and wiped her mouth. As both Gray and Juvia begun to fill their mouths with food they talked to some of the soldiers that were sitting down. They were asked simple questions about what it was like being in a guild and complimented them on their strength during the grand magic games while in return they asked the soldiers about the town and the villagers.

After a lovely chat between the four the chief clapped her hands together. "It is nearly time." Gray swallowed and looked sternly into the eyes of the chief after her comment. He looked down at Juvia who gazed back eagerly. The bluette nodded, it was as if the crazy and barbarian-like girl from just an hour and a half ago was a completely different person. The both stood up in unison, saying their goodbyes to both Levi and Eren, one which one farewelled Juvia with a kiss on the cheek. "Until next time." Eren beamed and waved his hand.

"This way." The chief pointed her arm in the direction of a petite house. The followed her directions and arrived inside the house. It was smaller than most apartments or houses in Magnolia and there were little furniture inside. In the middle sat a fire place that sat 3 people around it. Two seemed to be adults, one woman and one man while the other was a young woman that looked around 17 years old. The youngest wore a both alluring and beautiful silk kimono. She wore slight tears around her eyes and her cheeks looked red. Instantly after seeing the very sight of Gray and Juvia they rushed over and bowed their heads. "You must be the mages that came to our village! Thank you for coming to our house!" The cheered merrily the older woman and man hugging each other. The bluette and raven haired mages stared at them dumbfounded as if they didn't see what was so overly important. As if reading their minds the man spoke up saying; "Please, sit down. We will explain everything to you." Obeying their orders Gray and Juvia sat down in front of the fire warming their hands up

. "Well, two months ago one of the most beautiful women was abducted from what was believed to be bandits. Every week a woman was then abducted by these 'bandits.' Two weeks ago, however, this abductor was spotted. But, he was claimed to look nothing like a human. It was said his eyes were pure pink and he had black wings. The only possibilty is for him to be a demon. But tonight... our daughter will be the next victim." The mans eyes turned still and quiet showing signs of dismay. "How do you know she's going to be taken?" Gray patiently asked the villager with great concern. "The man has been sending love letters to her everyday... The same thing happened to the last victim." The younger woman, the daughter, spoke up. "Sounds like a creep...." Juvia mumbled under her breath. Despite how quiet she was Gray over heard and nodded in agreement. "He-"

Before anyone could let out even one more word a large explosion sound came from outside. Gray and Juvia rushed out, sighting a young man with black hair and pink eyes. Around him were pitch black wings and he wore a black coat as well as about 5 young women surrounding him. "Well what have we got here." Gray yelled out taking off his shirt and getting ready to fight the man in front of him.
