Nineteen

*Sam's PoV*

I walk down the stairs when I hear thumping behind me. I turn and see Colby scrambling to get up.

"Bro, what's the rush?" I ask, chuckling while crossing my arms.

"You're sister was in a crash, and they don't... they don't know how bad it is, or if she's going to make it." Colby stutters out, his bottom lip trembling. I grab his arm and pull him to my car while trying to open the gate.

"When did you get the call?" I ask, pulling out of the drive way and heading to the hospital.

"A few minutes ago. I don't..." Colby says while burying his head in his hands. I tap the steering wheel nervously when I see lights flashing up ahead. I see a familiar motorcycle and feel my stomach drop.

"Rose!" I shout while getting out, Colby following close behind.

"Sir, I'm going to have to ask you to step back." A paramedic says as I kneel beside her.

Her eyes are closed, her clothes all shredded up. Her leather jacket has holes which show her scraped up skin. Colby chokes back a sob and holds her hand, her skin paler than normal.

"Rose... please wake up." Colby sobs. He brushes her hair out of her face, revealing a nasty gash on her forehead. Her blonde hair has red, but it's not hair dye. I see a few paramedics bring a stretcher over and lower it.

"Sir, please step back so we can take her to the emergency room." A paramedic says while they check her vitals.

"Blood pressure dropping!" "Heart rate dropping." "Pupils unfocused." "We might need to do emergency shock."

All these are being shouted as me and Colby stand back as they take her to the back of an ambulance.

"Please, let me go with her. She's my sister!" I shout, tears running down my face.

"Both of you may come." A paramedic tells us and both Colby and I rush toward the back. We get in and the nurse is running back and forth, sticking needles in her arms.

"We're going to have to cut the pant leg open. Excessive bleeding in the thigh." The nurse says while grabbing scissors. I look at Colby and then at my sister. They cut open her denim pants, revealing a cut about 7 inches long on her leg.

"Holy shit." The nurse mutters while grabbing tools.

I feel the ambulance slow down after a while and hear the doors opening. I see them bring out a stretcher from the hospital, not expecting her to be dying.

"Take her back. Call Dr. Huff , might need a emergency shock." The nurse calls out. I look at Colby , who's trying to follow the stretcher to the doors but is stopped by some nurses.

"THAT'S MY GIRLFRIEND!" He screams, falling on his knees and sobbing. I sit next to him and look at the doors. It opens, nearly whacking Colby in the head.

"Is she-" I start when the nurse cuts me off.

"I need you to call her parents." The nurse says, not meeting my eyes.

"But-"

"Just do it, kid" The nurse says before walking back, leaving a screaming Colby at the doors once more.

A/N : Hey guys, I know I haven't updated in FOREVER, I've been so busy and just, life. Anyways, i'm trying to update at least once a month, or so. Thanks y'all!
