Laurens eyes burst open. Her body lurched upwards kicking at the covers in a furious flurry of motion, as she gasped for air. Primal instincts forced her to take in her surroundings, as the fog of unconsciousness quickly lifted from her mind.

Cold sweat covered every inch of her body, as she desperately tried to get air back into her lungs. She felt like she wasn't alone. She felt eyes watching her every move, felt them following the movement of her arms and legs, they were watching her... hunting her.

Confused she realized she was just in her own bed, save in the Gryffindor dormitory and not outside in the woods. Her gaze shifted to the window. It was the middle of the night and only the beginning of a new moon. This shouldn't be happening. She knew that Greyback wasn't trying to get into her head and neither did she have a nightmare, but why was she feelings like this?

Her breathing still hadn't calmed down and her whole body was still shaking and quivering with fear. She felt a strange coldness surrounding her, causing goosebumps to run along her skin, which was odd in itself.

Taking in deep breaths she sat up, looking around the room. The rest of the girls were in deep slumber, unperturbed and quietly snoring into their pillows. She couldn't remember her dream, but she could still feel the fear and hopelessness that had caused her to wake up.

She brushed the hair out of her face pressing her eyes close, as she tried to calm her unnaturally fast heart rate. She listened, focusing on the beating of her heart, only to realize seconds later, that it wasn't her heart that was beating so frantically.

Confused she brought her hand up to her chest, feeling her heart go by a normal 60 bpm. Still overcome with fatigue she shook her head. She looked down at her hands, which seemed strangely still for the current state her body seemed to be in. She could barely remember having panic attacks. She only ever had them as a child but she knew she must be  experiencing one right now.  After she had been bitten she had never had them again, the wolf blood made her react differently to these situations.

All of a sudden it hit her, it wasn't her body, shaking with fear and it wasn't her body that was cold and covered in sweat. It wasn't her heart pounding in her ears, it was... .

"Camila." She breathed out, as she roughly pushed the covers away from her body and hurled herself out of the bed.

The moon was darkened by stormy clouds, making it almost impossible to see anything. A strange ominous feeling had settled inside Camila's stomach which was only getting worse when her eyes had begun to adjust to the darkness surrounding her.

Her heartbeat was drumming in her ears and she was still breathing heavily. Camila knew she had to come up with a plan rather quickly if she didn't want to end up being on the cover of the 'Daily Prophet'.

She leaned to the side, looking behind, watching as the flicker of light that was undoubtedly caused by an lumos charm, was steadily closing in on her, like they knew where she was hiding. She leaned back, resting her back against the tree, as she closed her eyes, taking in multiple deep breaths.

She knew that she was quickly running out of time. If they were coming from inside the woods, it only makes sense to go the opposite direction, Camila thought, as she carefully pushed herself away from the tree that seconds ago had provided her a sense of security. She swiftly made her way around another tree, slipping swiftly to the next, while her shaking fingers were slowly brushing along the trees rough bark.
