~knock knock~ Anyone still with me? ...If so... here is the part in which we all ignore the fact that I haven't updated this fic in about 3 months~

Camila was slowly waking up. Not ready to face reality just yet, she snuggled tighter up against the body next to hers, hiding her face inside the crook of Laurens neck.

There was still a lot she had to process. The events of what had happened this morning, kept replaying in her mind, hanging over her like a dark cloud. She wanted to escape reality for a little longer, but the sound of chewing combined with the smell of chicken, forced her to take in her surroundings.

"No, really Mani... I-I don't like her like that..." Camila heard Normani comment in a mocking tone.

An involuntary smile spread on Camila's lips, as she lifted her head from Laurens shoulder. She squinted at the other girl, who had pulled up one the spare chairs and was sitting with her legs outstretched, resting on the bed, while munching on some chicken wings.

"... Trust me, I know what I'm doing." Normani said teasingly with an eye roll, before she dropped the last chicken wing into the box on the nightstand. She licked off the tips of her fingers, shaking her head at the two Cuban girls in front of her.

"What time is it?" Camila asked, her voice still sleep roughened. "... And you can not already be eating chicken wings!"

"Obviously, Cabello... you don't know me at all." Normani laughed, getting up from her chair. Camila chuckled, leaning away from Lauren, stretching her arms out.

"How are you?" Normani's asked, her expression unreadable as she looked over at the still sleeping girl next to Camila. "Poppy told me what happened."

"She did?" Camila asked, lifting an inquiring eyebrow at Normani who began to smirk.

"That woman is a real gossip if you know which buttons to press." Normani chuckled, quickly looking over her shoulder to make sure that the nurse hadn't come back. "Honestly you gave me quite the scare. I don't know how Lauren knew what was happening to you... or how she found you, but I'm grateful she did. I can't even imagine what would have happened if she hadn't."

Camila swallowed hard. She had thought the exact same thing. If it hadn't been for their link, Camila had no doubt in her mind that they would have caught her. She could tell that it was aggravating and a mystery to Normani how Lauren had known, but she also knew that it wasn't her place to tell her about Laurens secret.

"I can." Camila confessed, looking over at the sleeping girl next to her. "I would be on the cover of the freaking 'Daily Prophet' this morning. Just imagine that headline... finally the last offspring of the Cabello family has died... We are calling for celebrations... ."

"Camila..." Normani breathed out annoyed, rolling her eyes. She hated it when Camila was so cynical, even though she was rightly so. Whatever her parents had been responsible of doing, it shouldn't ever reflect back on Camila. She wasn't the monster most people expected her to be, besides her family wasn't the only thing that was wrong with this world.

"Have you heard anything about Ari?" Camila swiftly asked, before Normani would give her another lecture.

"Ari? You mean Grande? No, why? Did something happen?" Normani questioned, but before Camila was able to respond the door to the hospital-wing swung open, revealing Dinah Jane Hansen in her Pjs.

"You have got to be kidding me." Normani muttered under her breath. The moment Dinah's eyes fell on Normani, her steps slowed down and her eyes opened wider. She swallowed hard, forcing a smile.
