Lauren sat on the window sill, with her leg hanging indolently off the side. She watched the sun slowly settling dyeing the clouds and skies in shades of crimson.
Dinah on the other hand, was hopping around the room struggling to pull her dress up her thighs. When she finally manged to fully slip into it, she quickly put on her black Lace-up heels, before she turned to the mirror, checking herself out.
"Mirror, Mirror on the wall... ." She began, running her hands down the side of her body. "Don't say it, cause I know I'm cute!"
She turned around, looking at her butt, before she fully faced the mirror again, flicking her hair to the side, making kissing motions.
"Please tell me you're ready." Lauren breathed out, looking the blond up and down, appreciatively. Her gaze momentarily stopped at the blonds cleavage, that allowed a glimpse at the valley between her breasts. She already felt bad for Siope, not even she had managed to keep her eyes at Dinah's face.
"I was born ready, baby!" Dinah pursed her lips. "Lets go Lauser."
She flicked her hair over her shoulder once again, before she made her way out of the room and down the spiral staircase. Lauren rolled her eyes, but followed the Polynesian girl down the stairs, nonetheless.
Unlike Dinah, Lauren had chosen to wear a white dress that reached several inches above her knees. It was low cut, showing off a decent amount of cleavage, though not as much as Dinah. She had also decided on a blood red lipstick and a pair of lace black boots, which she felt more comfortable in then heels.
Entering the Common Room area, her eyes drifted over the crowd, consisting mostly of Gryffindors, ready for the ball. They were standing around in circles laughing and talking animatedly, but mostly checking each others outfits out.
One person in particular caught her eye. Siope. He was standing in front of the staircase with his mouth hanging open, as Dinah Jane descended and made her way towards him. He visibly swallowed as his eyes roamed hungrily over Dinah's body.
His face was beat red, looking like a tomato in a black suite, he managed to stammer out a 'Wow.. y-you look ... beautiful."
"Not exactly what I was going for... but I'll take it." Dinah laughed, linking their arms.
"Is that everybody now?" A blond Gryffindor boy yelled over the rest of the talking and laughing students.
"No.. we... ."
"I think so."
"No. We are missing Ariana." Zendaya hesitantly interjected, looking around, hoping to see the girl after all.
"Naw, I saw her just half an hour ago. She said she had to take care of something else first, but she would catch up with us." A Gryffindor girl retorted, as the voices around the room finally quieted down.
"Thats weird." Lauren heard Zendaya mutter to Marie, who looked almost as confused as the Ravenclaw.
"Okay. Well... lets go then." The Gryffindor boy concluded with an authoritative voice, motioning for everybody to follow him.
Lauren was still mad at herself. She had not managed to ask Camila out. Her anxiety had gotten the better of her. How she hated having so much self doubt. It was really weird. It was so easy to be mean to the girl, but being nice and acknowledging her own feelings for the Slytherin was a whole different story. It was just so much harder.
She still wondered what would have happened, if she'd had the courage to have asked her. At least she would have known, right? But its not like Camila would have agreed in the fist place,... right?
