He stared, blankly at the river in front of him.

She stared, blankly at him.

Moments passed by, and it seems as if they sat there for days before he spoke.

"Do you remember?"

She jumped a little, surprised that he's finally talking.

"I dont, I dont know." She mumbled. "How am I supposed to know?"

He sighed, sadly. He turned his face and stared at the green pools that is her eyes.

Her green eyes that once held recognition and light was now an empty, curious and black void.

She doesnt remember.

"Please remember." He said, tears pooling in his blue eyes.

"Please." He said again.

She stood up, and opened her hand. In  her palm was a necklace, with an inscription.

"I always wondered what this meant, or where I got it from." She sighed. She got closer to him, and took his hand.

Once upon a time, his heart would flutter when she touched him. His heart still would, but not that much anymore.

There is no love in her touch, no recognition.

She doesnt remember.

"Im sorry." She placed the necklace in his palm.

She walked away, and looked back, staring at the broken man she left behind.

"Im sorry." She whispered again.

And, as if the wind carried her voice, and wrapped it around him, he cried.

She doesnt remember.
