Great Kevin is out of the house and with Vanessa in labor I can put the final touches on the baby's nursery. Let's just say I have come a long way in a short time. Since I let Kevin move in the house, I realized how much I do need him and so will our son. I never had a family with loving parents and I have the chance to give my son so why keep fighting it. I know our situation is a little out of the ordinary but it is what it is. I know Kevin loves me and our son and he has been so patient with me. He caters to my every need and more. Although he does have to go and attend to Vanessa for the baby, he still makes me feel like I'm first; not put aside. At first I was a little scared about how all this would play out, but I am okay now. It may not be your average normal family but the four us sounds just right.
I peek in on the nursery for Kevin's daughter to make sure everything is in place, I'm just missing the mobile for the crib but it's supposed to be delivered today so Vanessa going into labor couldn't come at a better time. I made sure to put a glider in here too; hey a girl has to be comfortable. The pink and purple room with the mahogany furniture, the same as her brother is just amazing, I wanted to put her name on the wall but I don't know it yet. I have pictures of lambs and flowers painted on the walls; giving it that girly touch for you. I have all the clothes washed and folded in the dresser drawers and hanging in the closet along with baby shoes. Her changing table is already stocked with diapers, wipes, towels, wash and burp cloths, along with her bath stuff and little robe. I have her a purple Bugaboo Travel system with the matching carrier; I got the same things for our son in black. Just as I am closing up, the doorbell rings; great it must be the mobile for the crib.
"Delivery for Shannon Jordan."
"Yes right this way." I say letting him in
"Okay, we are going to do this nice and easy because I don't want to hurt you." He says holding the gun and that is when I remember his face
"What do you want? I will give you anything, my boyfriend has money he will give you what you want, just please don't hurt us." I say cradling my belly.
"If you just do as I say I promise I will not hurt you or your baby. Just come with me without a fight and everything will be fine."
"Shannon just listen and come with us; it's going to be okay." Jada says standing in the doorway
"Jada?"
"It seems like you have been busy after all." She says pointing to my belly.
"What happened to you? What are you doing?"
"Come on Shannon, did you really think that I was just going to let you have it all and leave me behind which you did anyway. Hell no, I deserve to live in a big house and have money too. You don't even want a life like this so why should you have it all to yourself."
"What are you talking about Jada? You are the one that disappeared right after Tesh was in the coma, oh my God, that was you wasn't it." I say backing up
"Shannon, you are such a dumb little girl. You think bad things don't happen to people just because, but they do. Our lives have been the front row seat to it; now let's fucking go." Jada yells
"Fuck you Jada, I'm not leaving." I say and before I know it Jada has her hands around my throat and I am fighting her off the best I can with a big belly in the way.
"Jada chill the fuck out, we're here to get her to get the money." The guy says pulling her off me.
"Fuck you Zack, we're just going to kill her anyway once we get the money."
"Leave Jada now before I call Ricky, you already fucking up shit. I told him not to send no crack whore with me and he didn't listen now get the fuck out."
