3- Those Serpent Eyes

"My God! Inosuke-sama you scared me!"

When Yoru spoke out loud the focus of the Kamado twins diverted to him and Inosuke.

"Oh, Inosuke-san! Yoru-kun! hi!" Mizu waved and smiled then Inosuke and Yoru smiled back.

"Yoru? who's that?" Sabito asked.

"He was the guy who was attacked by a demon yesterday" Mizu explained.

After the short conversation, the 4 of them went inside Inosuke's mansion to talk about things and have a rest for a while. Inosuke left them and said he would be back tomorrow. He left Yoru to Mizu and Sabito until he gets back because the headquarters called for a Hashira meeting. It's been 17 long years.

"Allow me to formally introduce myself. I am Kamado Sabito the son of Kamado Tanjiro and Kamado Kanao"

"I'm very honored to meet a skilled swordman like you. I am Takeuchi Yoru"

"Sabito, Yoru. I'll just go get something to eat. I'll be back. Take time to get to know each other more!" Mizu said and went to look for food in Inosuke's kitchen.

"Argh!" Sabito pressed his forehead and closed his eyes.

"Are you okay Sabito?" Yoru asked.

Sabito's POV

what's this? a headache? why is it so painful? I've never had such headache before. Arghhh so painful. It hurts. It fckn hurts!

"You killed my parents, my sister, and all my tsuguko except for Kanao! I will never forgive you"

what the fck are these memories?

"When I eat you, your pain will be gone and you will live inside me"

"bastard! breath of insect 6th form... "

"ARGHHHHH!!!!" I pressed my forehead even harder and Yoru tried to calm me down.

what is this? why am I having fragment memories of Kocho Shinobu and a demon?

after a little while I started to calm down.

"Sabito! What happened?" Mizu asked.

"I... I'm fine. I'm fine. I'm going to continue training now" Sabito stood up, wore his haori and went to train.

"What happened to him Yoru?"

"I don't know, he just keep touching his head and scratching it and then pressing it I bet he had a headache. I don't know" Yoru replied with a shrug.

Mizu stayed silent thinking and worrying about Sabito then Yoru started to get worried about Mizu's thoughts too because she looked miserable with that face.

"Hey Mizu, why is your right eye yellow and your left eye turquoise?. If Sabito inherited his techniques and eyes from your mother, I think neither Tanjiro sama or Kanao sama have yellow and turquoise eyes with serpent breathing technique. Are you really related to them? "

When Yoru asked those, Mizu also started to question it.

"You've got a point but... my father Tanjiro is not blood related to the previous flame pillar, Kyojuro san, yet father became his successor. I think eyes and breathing techniques isn't the basis of being blood related. We all are unique right? we are all different" Mizu answered with a genuine smile.

"You have a point. uhm Mizu,"

"Yes?"

"I like your eyes. They're as sparkly as gems"
