Lincoln had just woken up from his strange dream to find out that he is in the hospital surrounded by his loving family.

After feeling relieved that the terrifying nightmare has ended, a new question entered his head.

"So what happened?" he asked, his mind groggy.

"You and Lori were hit head-on by a drunk driver and now you're in the hospital. Good thing is that you both crashed next to an office building where a janitor was about to leave after cleaning up and he called an ambulance." Lynn Sr explained.

Lincoln remembered the crash. He remembered it so well, every fill detail, even what happened before.

"Oh...Wait...Lori! Where's Lori?!" Lincoln asked in panic.

"Calm down dude, She's right next to us!" answered Luna, hoping to calm her little bro.

Lincoln looked to his right only to spot older sister Lori Loud laying on a hospital bed fast asleep. He noticed that her face has been cleaned up and had a bandage on her forehead. Despite that, she looked alright.

"So what was your dream about?" asked a young Lana who was interested at what her brother said a minute before.

Lincoln didn't even want to think about what was running through his head while he was out. But knowing Lana, she won't stop asking until she got an answer. But besides, it's only a dream.

"All I remember is a mirror. A black clad skeleton with it's skull on fire. And I was falling through a fiery vortex. Lastly, I saw you all screaming in a pit of fire." Lincoln said with the best of his memory.

"Rad!" Lucy beamed.

Everyone stared at Lucy with emotionless expressions.

"What?" The young goth questioned.

"We...need to have a talk when we get home" said Rita seriously.

"Sigh." Lucy sighed.

"So son, How are you feeling?" Lynn Sr. asked with care.

"Fine, Why?" Lincoln replied, also has calmed down a bit.

"Well you were thrown out of your seat and was launched through a windshield which some of the broken glass might've cut and dug into your skin. You then landed on the hard road and did some sliding and rolling until you stopped which can tear your skin and muscle tissue off, and all of that should've led to serious blood loss " The loud patriarch explained.

Lincoln looked down and scanned his arms along rest of his body and felt his face only to find nothing amiss.

"But there's not even a mark on me." Lincoln commented, visibly confused.

"That's the strangest thing. When you were getting checked up, the doctors noticed that you had no scrapes, no bruises, not even a scratch on your body or face. Your heart rate was normal, your breathing rate was regular, and your blood pressure was fine. But all of this didn't stop them from checking you with an X-Ray, to find that nothing was wrong with you as if the wreck didn't happen. The doctors even said that you may go home once you're ready. Now don't get me wrong, I'm glad that you're alright" explained Lynn Sr.

"Really? Lisa, do you have anyway to explain this?" Lincoln asked, wanting answers as well.

The child prodigy fixed her glasses and spoke. "At the moment, I don't know how to explain this. But I'll discover the answer eventually."

Lincoln sat back in the bed and crossed his arms.

"Weird. Never have I heard of a wound, even multiple wounds, healing the night after they're made." he sighed.
