Lincoln left his room and headed down the stars not aware of the surprise which he will witness. As he got to the final step, something jumped out from the side of the couch and made a roaring sound.

Lincoln stepped back and held his arms in front of him as defense.

It occurred to him that the dream he had was now coming true. Unfortunately, he can't become the Ghost Rider now.

He braced himself for the end only to hear a familiar laugh of Luan.

He looked up to see Luan wearing an ugly monster mask with her laughing behind it.

Lincoln became slightly annoyed, yet relieved.

"Sorry, bro. I have a gig tonight at Tetherby Manor and I have to keep up my act for tonight." Luan explained though chuckles.

Lincoln gave his sister an "are you for real?" look.

"So you're going to preform in front of a bunch of rich snobs?" Lincoln asked with a small bit of disgust in his tone.

"Hey, the flier said that you'll be paid a pretty penny! And there will be more than just me going tonight." she added before walking up the stairs.

"Now if you need me, I'll be getting ready." she added before ascending up the steps.

The loud brother entered the dining room to see his father, Lynn Loud Sr, sitting at the dining room table with his head on both of his hands.

"Is everything okay, Dad?" Lincoln asked out of concern.

The patriarch quickly looked up to see his son.

"Oh. hello, son. It's just the hospital bill. I mean, sure we've visited the hospital countless times. When each of you were born and Lynn's many injuries from sports, but this is much more than usual." Lynn Sr groaned.

It didn't take long for Lincoln to catch on to what his dad was saying.

"Do we have enough money to pay it off?" Lincoln questioned.

Lynn Sr scratched his chin as he pondered.

"Well, Luan has a show tonight and Lola has a few pageants coming up so they agreed to give the money to me so we can easily pay it off." he explained.

"We can sell my bike." Lincoln offered, secretly hoping for a yes.

Lynn Sr quickly face him.

"No! You finally have something of your own and I don't want you to give it up over some money problems!" Lynn Sr protested.

Lincoln, surprised by his dad's outburst, nodded even if he didn't like that answer.

"But enough about this, how are you feeling? "Lynn Sr asked in a calmer tone.

"I'm fine." Lincoln replied before walking away from the table and headed into the kitchen.

"Let's see, peanut butter, sauerkraut, and white bread." Lincoln listed off mentally while grabbing the three items.

"Hey, Lincoln." Lucy greeted out of nowhere.

Lincoln jumped and quickly tightened his arms in hopes of not dropping the items onto the kitchen floor.

"Guess I didn't lose my spark after all." said Lucy with a hint of sarcasm.

Lincoln took a second to compose himself.

"What do you need, Lucy?" asked Lincoln in a voice close to annoyance.

"Haiku called me and said that she was saved by that creature from the news.." she revealed in her usual monotone speech.
