Jumin received a call on his phone from one of the security guards. He answered it, with a sick feeling in his stomach.

"Sir! There's been a breach!" Jumin could hardly believe what he was hearing. It felt as though time had stopped. He froze. Jaehee's worried eyes looking at him.

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"One of the security guards escorted Ella to the roof. Neither of them has been seen since. Someone reported seeing a chopper taking off not too long ago."

Jumin slammed his fist against the wall causing Jaehee to jump in surprise. She had never seen him lose his control like that before. Something bad must have happened.

"Christ. I'll be right over." He pocketed his phone and looked at Jaehee.

"Call everyone and send them to the penthouse. Now," he commanded with such ferocity in his voice that she squeaked in alarm.

"What's happened?" she asked him.

"Ella's been kidnapped."

"What!" Jaehee couldn't believe it. Was it Glam Choi and Sarah? "How did this happen?"

"I don't know. I need to get to the penthouse immediately. Make sure you tell everyone that this is an emergency meeting."

"Yes, Mr. Han." Jaehee immediately began calling all the members of the RFA as Jumin went back to the penthouse.

Upon arrival, he found all his team looking uneasy.

"Tell me how this happened," Jumin demanded.

"Sir, there's someone here to see you."

"Not now," Jumin snapped, he turned his gaze back to the Chief of Security.

"It appears that one of the guards wasn't who seemed to be," he explained calmly. "He asked for permission to take Ella up to the roof to get some fresh air. The next thing I knew, I was called back here because they had been up there for some time, but when the others went up to check on them, they were nowhere to be found. To make matters worse, reports of an unidentified chopper have come in."

Jumin sucked in a shaky breath. Ella was missing. He had promised that he would protect her. He had told her that she was safe in the building. God, where was she?

"Sir, the person waiting for you said it was important," the other security guard cut in again. Jumin turned his steely gaze towards him.

"Who is it?"

"V."

Jumin immediately pushed past his guards and went into the penthouse, slamming the door behind him. V was waiting in the middle of the living room wearing dark sunglasses. Jumin immediately went over to him.

"V, what are you doing here?"

"Jaehee said that Ella was missing, so I came to help."

"How did you get here so quickly?"

V shrugged his shoulders.

"Jumin, there's something I want to say before everyone else gets here," V started. He sighed heavily. "I don't know if you've read the latest messages in the chatroom, but I haven't been completely honest with everyone."

"What are you talking about?"

"Rika had a mental illness, I just didn't want anyone to know. I didn't want to tarnish your image of her. I wanted everyone to remember her just as she was before."

"I can understand that," Jumin said, folding his hands across his broad chest.

"That's not all." V swallowed. He told Jumin the rest of what he wanted to say. Jumin's hands fell to his sides and the blood drained from his face. He stared at V with surprise, confusion, and betrayal.

"Why would you do that?" Jumin asked, lunging at V. He gripped his shirt in his hands, bunching up the material of his navy blue shirt. V gave him a sad sort of smile.

"I'm sorry," he apologized.

"Sorry? The woman I care about more than anything in this world has been kidnapped and—"

The door of the penthouse swung open. Seven, Jaehee, Yoosung, and even Zen were all standing there.

"What's going on?" Zen asked, looking between Jumin and V.

Jumin gritted his teeth and shoved V aside.

"Ask V," he said with contempt.

...

When Ella woke up again Gil and another person were in the cell with her, talking to each other. She moaned, opening her heavy-lidded eyes. The light was on, but her eyelids felt so heavy that she was having trouble keeping her eyes open.

"Oh good, you're finally awake. Now the fun can begin." The other man made his way over to Ella and placed his hands on her face.

"I never expected it to happen this way. You're such a disgrace." He laughed, patting her cheek with his hand, pulling her head back and tilting it into the light. She opened her eyes, but he was standing directly under the lamp. She couldn't see his face.

"This is going to hurt you, but it'll be worth it in the end. Trust me."

"You trust me, don't you?" A voice asked her.

"Of course I do," she replied. Arms opened wide to her and she flew into those strong arms that wrapped around her body. She felt lips pressed on her forehead and she looked up at the man, but the sun was behind him and she couldn't see his face.

"You know I love you, right?" he asked her. She nodded her head.

"I love you too," she replied.

"Good. I know that you won't disappoint me. You just need to remember the goal. Once your mission is complete, you have to come back here straight away, do you understand?"

"Yes."

"Good. This isn't going to hurt you, I swear..."

Tears rolled down her cheeks, leaving marks in the dirt on her face.

"I'm going to enjoy watching this," the man said.

Gil cackled next to him. She could hear the gun as he banged the barrel of it against the concrete walls. The sound jarring her, shaking her body to the bone, making her feel alive again. Ella's eyes opened wide. Suddenly, memories came barrelling back to her, ones that she couldn't remember and ones that she could as the man said something into her ear. He let go of her head and it hung forward. Everything went blank. She didn't know who she was anymore. She didn't know why she was tied up in this cell, all she knew was that she had a mission to complete. She raised her head up, looking at both of the men in the cell with her. Her eyes narrowed and her lips curled into a wicked smile.

"She's back!" The two men grinned, high-fiving each other.
