"Is this your first time at my place?" Alex glances at me as he drives.

"Why I think it is," I look at him in surprise. "You just moved in a couple weeks ago right?"

"Yeah, and the place is great," he nods.

He rented a new house this summer for his senior year with his a bunch of his UCLA friends. Unlike Sunny, Alex never joined a fraternity. He is too busy with football and school.

"Should I know anything before I enter the home of a bunch of horny college guys?" I ask half-jokingly, half-serious. I hope I will not have a repeat encounter of what happened in Sunny's frat house when I visited him. Let's just say those graphic images have been seared in my memory.

He only laughs and then reaches over to hold my hand with his. I glance at our clasped hands. I have always loved the feel of his callused and warm hands that dwarf my hands. I guess I just love the feel of his skin touching mine.

"What?" I raise my eyebrows.

"Ah nothing," he gives a small smile.

"What?" I frown a little.

"Nothing," he gives me that aggravating smile.

"I'm rooming with four other guys: Xander, Clark, Boyce, and Danny. They're all very...different," he purses his lips as he thinks. "I don't think you've met Boyce and Xander."

"Are they on football with you?" I ask. I've met most of his teammates already, but only those from last year.

"Naw, only Boyce. He just transfered last year from Texas. Boyce is a huge guy; he's probably the tallest guy I've ever met. I wonder why he never played basketball because of that height of his-he's 6'5". Oh and he's the nicest guy I've ever met. You got to check out that 'fro of his. Too bad he shaves it for season." He continues. "Xander...well you're going to meet him soon."

"That sounds ominous," I chuckle. "And we are here." I say as we pull up to the garage.

"Wow." I whistle in appreciation. It does look nice with its wooden exterier, giving it a woodsy and cabin appearance. I tilt my head a little, leaning towards the front window to peer at the place. There's something about this house.

"After you," he comes around to open the car door, something that has yet to get old.

We head on in, and I can't help but feel butterflies start in my stomach. First impressions are everything. I hope I don't screw this up. I want to make a good impression to Alex's roomates.

"We try to keep things tidy, but it still might be a bit messy anyways," Alex warns before we enter the household. I doubt it'll be messy because Alex can be quite the tidier.

"CHUG! CHUG! CHUG!" I hear some guys chanting.

"Oh shit..." Alex curses under his breath as we enter the living room.

We enter and see four half-naked boys. The one with pineapple boxers is holding onto Danny's legs. Danny is currently doing a keg stand. Clark and Boyce are playing beer pong. They are both sporting capes. Clark has a batman cape and Boyce has a superman cape; they have matching boxers. How cute. All them are chanting in unison.

"CH--OH HI XANNON AND EMMALYN! WELCOME TO OUR LOVELY ABODE!" The one with pineapple boxers shouts a little bit too loud.

"Nice to meet you," I shake his hand politely, silently hoping that his wet fingers are only water. "Please, call me Emma or Em."

"IT'S GREAT TO MEET YOU TOO EM! I AM XANDER!" He beams. Wow, he is one happy drunk. "You're as pretty as Xannon said you were!"

At those words, Alex smacks him on his arm.

"Thanks," I chuckle and smirk at Alex.

"OUCH! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?" Xander's eyes water as he rubs his arm.

"I'M BOYCE!" The guy I already assumed was Boyce waves at me.

"I'M CLARK!" Clark waves, even though I kind of know him already.

"HIYAAA," Danny falls down. He looks like he is about to puke.

"Guys.." Danny groans. "I think I am about to..."

"BUCKET!" Xander runs toward him with a bucket.

"Let me show you the pool," Alex swings his arm around my shoulder and brings me to the backyard.

"That'd be lovely." I lean back onto his chest. "Xander seems nice. Is he always so..."

"Loud and seemingly empty-headed? Don't be fooled. He's brilliant, as in a genius." Alex puts his arms around me and continues. "The guy is going to be a neurosurgeon; he's currently in the UCLA graduate program and he's only the same age as me."

"How'd you meet him?" I wonder.

"Believe it or not, I was his tutor sophomore year. He was struggling in a humanities class. The guy may be smart, but he has weaknesses too," Alex explains. "We kept in touch after that and I guess here we are with everyone else. It's a rather strange group now that I think about it. Danny is majoring to be a Pharmacist, Boyce as a psychologist, and Clark you already know."

"Do they all call you Xannon?" The name feels weird on my tongue.

"Well, I introduced myself as Xannon," he shrugs. "I like having only you call me Alex." He says casually.

I feel my cheeks blush at those words.

"The guys are all glad to meet you, even if you've already met two of them." Alex whispers in my ear, his breath tickling it. I step to the side and cover my ear. "The boys will be boys. They just want to have fun sometimes."

"They seem truly wonderful," I grin.

"More like pain in the asses," he mumbles affectionately.
