"I'm going to take a shower." Sunny grabs his clothes and heads toward his bathroom.
"Nope. Sit." I point to his bed. Jason meekly obeys me.
"Can't I shower?" He complains.
"No, if I don't get to rest and shower, you don't get to rest and shower." I fold my arms and glare at him grumpily. As you can tell, I"m in a terrible mood.
"You can't tell me what to do. I'm the older sibling." He smirks briefly as he stands up once more.
"Sit your ass down on the bed. Now." I say once more. He sits right down.
"Now, you're going to explain all you actions in detail, like a report. You're going to tell me everything straight up. Everything I want to know. You leave nothing behind. And you shall begin now."
"But-" he protests.
"NOW." I hold my hand up to stop him from talking. I am in desparate need of a shower.
"Alright!" He sighs.
"You know how I promised you no fighting right? Well, I mostly followed through that promise. It's not like I even want to fight, you know? Still, I have all this energy on me. I can't concentrate in school if I have too much energy. I went to the gym. That combined with partying equals a happy, healthy me! ANyways, at one of my parties, I met this girl." He laughs weakly at my facial expression.
"Let's have a little less detail," I roll my eyes as he just blurts everything. We may be close, but sometimes he forgets his filter.
"Let me explain. This girl was Yasmin. We hit it off right from the beginning. I was a freshmen and she was a junior. She was a great girl. We became rather close and stuff..." I pretend that I don't see the smirk planted on his face as a thought crosses his mind. "Anyways, she brought me to my first club freshmen year. She gets all these exclusive deals to all these clubs. I swear I didn't even now she was involved in anything bad. She's a really chill girl. She's almost like a bro, but she's a chick, if you know what I mean?" No, I don't know what you mean.
"She'd just invite me as her plus one. It wasn't bad at all! She doesn't do anything illegal with me."
"you don't need to defend her. Just explain." I sigh.
"Okay. Our latest club was the one we went to last night. That's our favorite. And don't worry, I don't do drugs at all. I just don't know why I called you. I don't remember calling you..." he scratches his head as he thinks deeply. "I guess I was more drunk than I expected. Well, that's all I have to tell you."
"Okay..." I nod and process everything. There's not much I got off from him.
"So..." I trail off.
"So..." he nods. "Serious question here: Have you ever thought about being some sort of detective?"
"How much did you drink?" I roll my eyes. He doesn't look as tipsy as before.
Sunny raises his hand and squeezes his index finger and thumb together. "This much."
"You're still drunk." I shake my head and sigh.
"No, I'm not." He frowns stubbornly.
"That's what all drunk people say..." I scold.
"I'm not that drunk." His voice actually remains clear, barely any slurring.
"Fine, but what happened in that parking lot?"
"It wasn't anything important." He shrugs before grumbling under his breath.
