"Trinity! Cassie's at the door!" Her mother's voice could be heard throughout the home informing Trin that Cassie was waiting outside for her.
Trin rushed down the stairs quickly grabbing her backpack and shouting out goodbyes, before she even got a response she was out the door in a matter of seconds.
"Look at you, California really gave you a different sense of fashion," Cassie pointed at her friend's slightly new look.
Trinity rolled her eyes, "Liv's friends helped me shop when I was there, they said that clothing is a good way of expressing yourself."
"Well whatever it was I certainly love it you look more yourself than ever," Cassandra finished hooking her arm into her friends continuing to make their way towards school.
"We don't live far from school but after 2 years it's really starting to bother me," Trin huffed slightly dragging her feet
"Look on the bright side we're reducing our carbon footprint, but you know we could have a ride," Cassie finished taunting the girl.
Did Trin have a ride to school? Technically she did, but she preferred not being seen with her brother on campus. EJ Caswell was "famous" around school everyone loved him which was the reason why people even approached Trinity. He was outgoing and loved receiving attention. Trin stood in the sidelines and opted to receive minimal attention. EJ thrived to be perfect, Trin conformed with being average, it wasn't that she didn't care she was just used to being compared to her brother that she slowly gave up trying to live up to everyone else's expectations.
