★·.·'¯'·.·★★·.·'¯'·.·★★·.·'¯'·.·★★·.·'¯'Trinity had been reading her assigned book for English when her stomach rudely interrupted her. Her sister had started cooking and Trin could smell it all the way up to her room. Tossing her book on her bed she made her way downstairs into the kitchen where the older girl was calmly cooking.
"Whatcha making?" Trinity asked leaning onto Olivia's shoulder.
Olivia Caswell was the eldest of the siblings she was 20 and in college. Although she took the fall semester off because the stress was really getting to her. Their parents weren't as happy but they were glad that she had at least found a job and that she was able to help around their home while they were at work.
"Pasta with chicken and veggies. How was school? " Liv asked her sister while she chopped some vegetables passing a carrot to her sister.
"Um, it was okay. I had dance, someone thought it was a good idea to give me AP English, lunch was probably disgusting. Oh and there's a new drama teacher and she's holding a production of High School Musical," Trinity quickly summarized her day leaving out the whole EJ and Nini situation.
"Oh god we're never going to hear the end of it with EJ," Liv replied not really looking forward to her brother talking about the musical.
As if on cue EJ walked in through their front door. "Smells great what's for dinner?" He asked leaving his backpack by the door and sitting on the stool next to Trin.
"Hello to you too EJ, we're all doing great. Thanks for asking," Liv started sarcastically rolling her eyes at her brother.
"Carrot?" Trin offered a piece she stole off the cutting board. Her brother shrugged and took it without a question.
Trinity looked around the kitchen continuing to eat her carrot when she finally decided to address what had been on her mind all day, "So you and Nini?" She asked making her brother look up from his phone.
"Were you going to tell me or was I supposed to find out through an Instagram post?" Trin finished she might have altered the way she found out but now EJ would have no other choice than to come clean.
Olivia stopped chopping vegetables looking up at her siblings confused, "Nini. As in Nini your kind of friend? Nini, Ricky's girlfriend?"
"Ex-girlfriend," EJ corrected. "We got along during theater camp," he finished as if that was enough answer for them.
Before anyone could speak again the doorbell rang throughout their house announcing that someone was at their door.
"I'll get it! Trin keep chopping!" Olivia burst out quickly wiping her hands and making a dash for the door leaving Trinity cutting up the rest of the vegetables.
