As you got onto the bus with Semi, your eyes locked with a certain person, Ushijima. An image of your father flashed through your mind as you tugged on Semi's shirt, pointing at Ushijima. " You want to go to him? " He asked as you nodded, to which he walked towards Ushijima's seat.
" Mind taking care of ___? She seems to want to sit with you, Ushijima. " Semi asked as Ushijima nodded hesitantly. He wasn't good with kids, so that worried him just a tiny bit. Semi placed you down on the seat beside Ushijima, patting your head and going to his seat afterwards.
After Semi left, you turn to Ushijima who had his eyes closed. You assume he was asleep and frowned, you wanted to talk to him and was becoming bored as you hugged BunBuns.
Hesitantly, you poked him.
He opens his eyes and stare at you, wondering if you wanted something. You smiled widely when he woke up and couldn't help but hug him. Ushijima just sat still in place, making you confused.
Your father always tends to hug you back when you hug him.
Suddenly, Tendou peeked from the seat behind you and Ushijima. You let go of Ushijima and forgot what you were confused about while giggling at Tendou's action. " Where am I? " Tendou asked as he dissapear from your view, making you wonder where was he as you placed BunBuns on the seat.
" Here I am!! " He popped out of the back seat and made you laugh cutely. He dissapeared again so you stood on the seat, trying to peek at him.
Bad idea.
A bump was coming up on the road and none of them realized it. Before Tendou could play with you again, the bus drove over the bump, making you wobble and yelp as you lost your balance. It was good thing Ushijima caught you before you could fall.
He pulled you back up and sat you down, " Don't do that. " He says to both you and Tendou. You frowned but felt thankful that he saved you. Again. You sigh and nudge over to Ushijima, resting your head on his arm and feeling a little sleepy.
You yawned and shook your head, not wanting to sleep. Ushijima noticed and hesitantly picked you up into his lap and started to pat your side gently. His left arm was holding your head to his chest while his other arm did the patting to help you fall asleep.
A smile creeped up on your lips as your eyelids started to get heavier. Maybe taking a small nap won't be that bad.

You groan softly as you opened your eyes. Seeing Kawanishi carrying you, you turned to your side, wondering why you weren't in the bus. " Ar...rive..? " You ask as Kawanishi notices you awake. He smiled slightly and nodded, " Yes, we're here. "
Kawanishi changed the position of carrying you so you now had your tiny arms around his neck and you having his back view. Unable to see the others, you turn around and clutched onto his shirt, looking for the others. " If you're trying to find the others, they're playing right now and I'm taking you to where you'll be sleeping. "
Kawanishi explained as you get the point, nodding and loosening your grip on his shirt. Suddenly feeling empty, you look at your hands and remember BunBuns. Where was he? In panic you stopped Kawanishi from walking further by jumped off of him, surprising him as you ran away.
He called out to you but you wouldn't listen. You needed to know where BunBuns were or else you would lose the only memory of your mother and the exact thought of that makes you feel panicked.
" ___! " Kawanishi was gaining up on you and tried to grab you but you ducked and continue to run. ' How smart is this kid!? ' He asked himself as you started to run out of breath.
Looking back at him, you didn't look where you were going and hit the wall. It wasn't an actual wall though, it was just Matsukawa passing by.
You felt dizzy and fell on the ground, Matsukawa kneeling down to check on you but Kawanishi quickly picks you up and runs to the infirmary. He was worried for both you and himself after what just happened.
Matsukawa just stood up and shook it off wondering why there was a child running around.
" Hey, are you okay?? " Kawanishi asked with a slightly panicked tone, you groaned and clutched onto his shirt, tears pricking your eyes from both physical and mental pain for falling and losing BunBuns. Kawanishi sighed and held you closer to him, he didn't know why you ran but something told him it was a good enough reason to.
As he arrives into the infirmary, he tried to lay you down on the bed but you clutched onto his shirt. " Hey, ___, it's alright, I'm here. " He tried to soothe you with words and by rubbing circles on your back. " Bun...buns... " You mutter, shutting your eyes close to prevent the tears from falling.
Your mother always tells you not to cry, and that BunBuns will always be there to help you.
But he wasn't there.
It finally clicked in Kawanishi's mind why you ran, it was your stuffie missing. He sighed as he called you. " I can find BunBuns for you, if you calm down. " He says as the tears quickly disappear, your hopeful eyes connected with his as you nod.
" Okay, but first you have to lay on the bed and wait for me, can you do that? " He asks, the gentle tone in his voice making you listen closely. You nod and let go of his shirt as he lays you on the bed, pointing at your forehead. " Does it still hurt? " He asks as you shook your head.
He couldn't help but smile at your obedience, while he did so, that made you smile as well. " I guess you're not that bad. " He says and ruffles your hair gently, making you giggle at the action. " I'll be back, no matter what happens, don't leave this room. " He smiles at you one last time before leaving you in the room.
