5 - The Dinner Date

Alexa's pov

I stare into his deep brown eyes that hypnotizes me instantly. He looks at me like I'm the only girl he wants to look at. I feel the butterflies in my stomach going to war with one another.

How is it that such a beautiful specimen is sitting right in front of me. I feel him lean closer, "Alexa, I need to ask you something.",  GRAYSON FREAKING DOLAN says as he looks intensely into my green eyes.

"Yes Grayson? What is it?" I reply as I keep my gaze fixated on his gorgeous face. His sharp jawline, his dimples, his pink lips.

"I feel like I've known you all my life and there's no other girl I'd rather be with right here right now. Will you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?" Grayson asks with a beautiful smile displayed on his face.

"Yes Grayson!!! I would love to be your girlfriend!" I say excitedly. I can't believe this is actually happening to boring old me!

He leans in closer, diminishing any space that was between us as I feel him place his soft lips on mine. He brings his one hand up to my neck to hold me in place as he kisses me passionately. His other hand is fixated on my waist as he stands in front of me in my room.

He pulls back slowly to catch his breath. WOW! Is that what kissing feels like? Because if it is, then I definitely want more of that!

He leans his forehead on mine and breathes heavily from our heated session. "Alexa...", his deep raspy voice says.

"Yes Gray...." I breathe out slowly. This feels so good. Just standing here after kissing the only guy I've ever had a crush on.

"Wake up..." Gray says with a serious face. Huh??? How the heck did he become serious so fast like that??

"What?... What are you talking about Grayson?" I ask him as I move back. He looks at me for a little while and then he starts disappearing. What the hell is happening right now?!

"Grayson! What's going on!? What's happening?" I shout as he floats away.

I still hear his deep voice shouting "WAKE UP ALEXA!!!" even though he's gone now. His voice carries on shouting until everything starts falling away. What the actual fudge is going on?!.....

My eyes start opening slowly as I hear my mum shouting from downstairs. "Alexa! Wake up! Your going to be late for school unless you get your ass up!"

Seriously mum!!! She woke me up from kissing Grayson FREAKING Dolan!!! I could've gone on my first date if she didn't decide to wake me up from the best dream ever.

"Yeah yeah I'm awake mum! Thanks for destroying my hopes of being Graysons girlfriend!" I shout back as I get up and get ready for hell. Oops, I mean school...

I decide to wear my black ripped jeans with my red cropped hoodie and my red and black Vans. I leave my hair open in its natural wavy state and apply my lip gloss. I don't like using makeup unless I'm celebrating something or going for an event. It's really hard to put on and hard to take out. Plus, I'm really lazy...

As I make my way downstairs I nearly trip to my doom. I regain my balance quickly and walk towards the kitchen for a healthy breakfast. And... Of course by healthy I mean pancakes with extra chocolate sauce and extra whipped cream and a little bit of strawberries for the healthy part of my oh-so-healthy breakfast.

"Hey mama. Where's Xavier?", I ask as I devour my scrumptious meal. She looks at me with a motherly smile.

"He left early to meet with his friend Cole. They just need to go over some paperwork and after that he'll officially be a partner in the business. I don't think I've ever seen him this excited." she says with a loving smile. It's true.
