Previously on The Misfortunes Of Alexa's Life....

I'm currently sitting in front of an asshat known as Hunter Riley at a dinner in which our families are getting to know each other since they're going to be working together a lot in the near future.

Someone...Kill...Me...Now!!! Is this what hell feels like?...

OK so maybe this isn't so bad.

Maybe I won't have to participate in this dinner at all. Hopefully all I have to do is listen to the conversations around me, eat this delicious food and finally go home and binge on On My Block. But... when has anything ever gone my way?

"So Alexa, I hear that you and Hunter attend the same school.", Hunter's dad Jack says.

"Yes sir we do." I say and look at Jack. For an intimidating guy on the business front he seems so much nicer when he's relaxed and in dad mode.

"So you two know each other well then?" Hunter's mum Elena asks both of us.

Elena Riley has light blonde hair and bright blue eyes. She looks to be in her early 40s and she's about 5ft8 with a slim waist but she still has curves in all the right places. She has high cheekbones and a lovely tan skin tone. All in all, she could pass of as a model. Now I know where Cole and Hunter get their good looks from.

Well Elena, if by "know each other well" you mean I loathe your son because he is an absolutely narcissistic, arrogant and egotistical jackass, then yes... We're actually best friends!!!.. Is what I wanted to say.

"No not really." is what I actually said.

"Oh well don't worry about that because I'm sure that you two will get to know each other pretty well considering the amount of time our families will be spending together." Elena smiles at me and I just wonder how such a wonderful person has an asshat as a son.

"Well isn't that just wonderful", I hear Hunter mutter sarcastically under his breath.

Well it isn't exactly like I want to spend time with you either jerk.

"Would you please excuse me. I just need to use the restroom." I excuse myself and walk up the stairs on my mission to find the bathroom.

Wow...this place just goes on and on. I seriously could get lost in here.

I turn right and there's a few doors that I can see down the hall. I open the first one and to my luck it's the bathroom. I enter and do my business quickly. I wash my hands and stand in front of the mirror. My hair is still in place and so is my make up.

Thank God for Emily showing me how to do my makeup otherwise I'd be looking like a clown right now.

I open the door and get surprised to see Hunter leaning casually on the door frame. What the heck? Did he follow me up here?

"What are you doing here?" I sneer up at him. Why is he so tall?! He looks down at me and smirks. Is he always smirking?

"I kinda live here nerd." he replies with a sneaky smirk. I have a bad feeling that he's up to something and it involves me.

"I know that dummy. I meant why did you follow me up here like a creep?" I frown at him. I don't like the way he's looking at me. It's like he knows something that he shouldn't.

"Well nerd, your phone started ringing when you left the table and I offered to bring it to you since I'm such a wonderful human being. But then I noticed who was calling and I must say, you're not very good at keeping your crush a secret are you? I bet Danny boy would love to know just how much you really like him." he smirks down at me and holds my phone in his hand.
