Clad in a beautiful red and off white dress she was sitting in one corner of the bed. It was her wedding night yet the room didn't have any vibe of a newly wedded couple. There were no flowers. Everything was so simple and plain. She let out a long breath with a wave of heaviness. The expressions on her face were a testament to what had just happened.

Why me?

She thought.

Her heart was pierced with pain and hollowness inside. Her life was all messed up. Her soul was clobbered. It was cluttered. The world wasn't making any sense to her. Every nook of it seemed unrealistic to her. It was giving her a fright just like this room.

She wished it all to be just a nightmare. Her worst nightmare and when she'd wake up, everything would fall back to place. Everything would be over. Nothing would have had happened. She'd still be in her room, wondering which dress to wear today. Or maybe her entire life would be a nightmare.

All these thoughts kept lingering in her mind but no matter how hard she tried no one can change the bitter reality of this world. No one can change their destiny. She wished she could go back in time and delete that night which led her to an abyss. One night which snatched everything from her.

She was always a very lively girl and her jovial personality adorned her all the more. She was pure, she still is. She was kind. She was considerate. She was crazy. A bit rude too but she was full of life.

Her visage was still etched with innocence. She was an epitome of purity. All the happy moments of her life were darting towards her heart. The plethora of turbulent memories was piercing through her heart making her wince.

The pain in those eyes was the proof that her scars ran deep in her soul. She just wanted to run away from this room, this house which could never become her home. She was floating in the ocean of nothingness.

Lost in her thorns of life, her gaze fell over a huge photo frame hanging on the opposite wall. She suddenly covered her mouth with her hand as if trying to resist from screaming. She faltered. She couldn't move. She had suddenly become a torpor. She felt like her soul was leaving her body. She couldn't believe her eyes. What was life doing to her?Just when she thought it couldn't get anymore worse, it took a U turn shoving her past right in her face. This wasn't even the last thing she expected. She forgot to breath. The already thousand pieces of her tattered soul increased manifold.

Suddenly the door opened. She closed her eyes and tightened them like a baby as if it would all be a dream the moment she opened them back.
