"What the hell is going on?," Ahid asked with horrifying eyes, fixed at Ayat.

Ayat's half drooped eyes lingered to him as she looked at him with hope, a silent prayer curling up from her mouth and soaring to Allah Almighty, to make him her savior.

"Oh thank God, it's you," Rameez exclaimed with a sigh.

Incredulously, Ahid shifted his gaze to him. "What the eff are you doing?," he howled as he stepped forward, his voice heavy and authoritative.

She could hear him, see his blurry figure.

"Hey, listen," Rameez turned completely toward him. "There's no need to shout. We can enjoy together,"he winked.

His disgusting words jagged her very existence, stabbing her already broken soul..

Ahid looked at him with utter shock, his eyes welling up with ire, jaws jutted to his chiseled cheekbones and lips pursed together in rage. Adrenaline ebbed in his entire body as his forearms tightened, revealing his frosted veins.

Then, an evil smirk crept its way on to his lips.

"Yeah, let's do that."

Shooting their way through her ears, his words pummeled her heart as a lone tear escaped her eye and her stomach lurched into entangled knots. Deep down she had expected him to save her. She had a feeling that he would. But his reaction murdered whatever that was left of her.

And with that she drifted into a deep slumber. A slumber she never wanted to wake up from.

She had died inside.

"GREAT!" Rameez exclaimed with glinting eyes as he turned toward her.

And SMACK!!!

A hard fist of Ahid's balled hand landed on his face making him lose his balance and trip to the side.

It took him a few seconds to process what had just happened as he regained his balance.

"What the fuck dude? What is up with the reaction," touching his cheek, he blurted out.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Did it pain you because for someone to be as inhuman as you, got to be made of stone."

Before he could say another word, Ahid groped him by the collars of his shirt. "Tell me, how would you have reacted had someone laid a finger on your own sister? huh?"

"Well for starters, I don't have one so I really don't care." He shrugged.

"I'm glad you don't because no girl deserves to have a brother like you, you filthy piece of shite," he retorted, yanking him away.

"Now you're just crossing your line," Umer retorted lifting his forefinger up.

Shunning him, Ahid bent down to where Ayat was laying. and waving his hand over her alabaster flushed face, called her name repeatedly, not touching her.

After a few futile attempts at waking her up, he reluctantly grabbed her head and a slimy liquid came in contact with his hand. He held his hand out in front of himself, and as he gaped at it, his fingers trembled, vein popped on his forehead, and eyes squinted into two perfect lines, tainted with horror and disbelieving streaks of losing...

"Oh My God, she's bleeding," his voice wavered as his breaths hitched in his throat.

"She's what?" Rameez asked as he sat down and had just extended his hand to her when Ahid jerked it back with force.

"Stay away from her, you congenital pervert."

With that, he slipped his one hand under her knees while the other one grabbed her back and hoisting her up, propped up her lithe figure in his hold.
