; reason of joining || ☁️ ) ↳ growing up, jaewon was known to be a very talented boy but he never really thought he was cut out to be an idol. over the years, jaewon took many dance classes and vocal lessons to improve his skills. after participating in a talent show in middle school, his friends begged him to audition for a company because they thought he was wasting his talent. after a few months he finally decided to audition. at the time he was very interested in monsta x and loved all the members, so he decided to audition for starship. after years of training at the company, the company came to him with the offer of joining a program to finally debut. jaewon decided to join because he didn't think his time to debut would come any sooner.
