; reason of joining || ☁️ ) ↳ sanghyun grew up with strict parents. while he was in elementary school, his teachers had encouraged him to join a music club since he was doing well in the music subject; that was where he had developed a love for music and discovered his passion for singing. a month or so later, he was watching a show with his mother when he saw an idol on stage. this made him aspire to become an idol just like the ones on television. he began sneaking away to his aunt's house to practice his singing as his parents never approved of his dream to become an idol after he had told them. he saw his chance when an entertainment was holding auditions and auditioned without his parent's knowledge and got in. his parents were disappointed in him when they found out but after much convincing and discussions ; they have come to accept his dream and promised that they would support him in his future career.
