Ch. 4
NIALL'S POV
I walked over to the door and I looked out the little hole. It was Danielle, "Liam go eat some food it'll cheer you up," I told him trying to get him to leave. Liam moped out of the room still sobbing and Danielle looked mad standing outside the door as I waited for Liam to walk away, "HARRY'S NAKED!" I yelled through the door and Danielle rolled her eyes. I frowned, it didn't seem like Danielle normally she would laugh and make a comment about Harry's condition. Liam was finally gone and I opened the door, "Hey Dani, why are you here? I thought you and Liam broke up,"
"Hey Niall, and we did I just left all of my stuff here and I needed it," She said as she walked into our flat.
"DANIELLE!" Eleanor screamed as she walked downstairs with Louis. She dropped his hand and ran over to her best friend and took her in a massive hug.
LIAM'S POV
"Danielle?" I asked coming out of the kitchen trying so hard not to cry.
"Hi," She looked at her feet. I could tell the situation was awkward for her too.
"Why are you here?" I calmly asked.
"Getting my stuff," She replied as she walked towards the stairs.
"I'll help you," I followed her to the stairs and she only nodded her head in return.
We walked up the stairs and went to the last room on the right, our room or my room I guess.. She opened the door and began grabbing some of her things and throwing them into her bag, I saw her grab an over sized green t-shirt, "That's my shirt," I told her.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I'm just used to wearing it," She blushed.
"You can keep it if you want," I awkwardly replied but she just set the shirt on the ground again.
"You know I still love you right?" She asked.
"Then why'd you break up with me?" I asked.
"I couldn't take it anymore the fame, lack of privacy, hate, death threats, everything it's too much!!" She cried and I saw a few tears run down her tan, smooth cheeks.
"Danielle, I understand," I walked over and sat down next to her on our bed, my bed, "Sometimes I think it's too much. Sometimes I just want to quit and leave, go into hiding or something. Just to get away from it all and I got away from it with you. I still love you and I always will, but if you can't handle the media I understand. Take a break and if you're ever ready to date me again, I'll be there, if you need a friend or a shoulder to cry on, I'll be there. Don't worry I'll always have your back Butter Bear," I called her the nickname I gave her, and I picked up my t-shirt that she loved, "Take it, we're not breaking up, just taking a break,"
"Thanks boo," She said and I smiled at my nickname.
I continued helping her pack up her things and we soon finished. We talked and laughed the whole time and it reminded me of talking to Eleanor, just like a good friend. I helped her carry her bags downstairs and she said bye to all of the guys saving me for last.
I wrapped my arms around her and I whispered in her ear, "It's just a break, I still love you,"
"I love you too," she whispered to me, and I held her in my arms a little while longer just feeling her there brought back so many memories of our relationship. The day I met her on the X-Factor. She was so happy and bubbly. When I asked her out the first time and how happy she looked. Our first date at a Chinese Restaurant in the outskirts of London, it was perfect and the food was amazing. Our first kiss I swear fireworks actually went off. The first time I told her I loved her at a little Italian Restaurant. Our 1 year anniversary when I took her to Jamaica. When I brought her home to meet my family and our two year anniversary at Big Ben and the London Eye and I rented out a theatre and we watched every Toy Story movie, The Last Song, The Notebook, and her favorite The Little Mermaid. When she finally moved into our flat and how happy she was, and now we're broken up. The. I thought of how I was going to take her to Hawaii I was going to ask her tonight and propose there I had the flight and resort and every single detail already figured out but now she'll never be Mrs. Payne.
She left my tight hold on her and walked up to Eleanor, her best friend and she gave her a massive hug, "I can't believe you're leaving me as the only girl in the house," El complained.
"If you ever need to get away from these lunatics or need some girl time just call me, I'll always be there for you. You never know I might be back again," She winked. She let El go and I helped her carry her bags down to her car. I hugged one last time and I kissed her forehead.
"See you later," I told her because it was not a goodbye.
I sulked back up to my flat and I plopped down on the couch and I just sat there and sulked.
NIALL'S POV
"Not to be a moment ruiner or anything but let's leave Liam here alone and go grab some Nandos and bring it back for him," I said. Liam nodded his head in agreement as we all walked towards the door.
"Hey, it'll get better I promise," Harry told him.
We left in our big Escalade on our way to my favorite place in the world, Nandos. Louis drove with El in the passenger seat his hand clinging to hers. I sat with Harry and Zayn in the very back joking around just like we were on a twitcam or the video diaries from the X-Factor.
We pulled up to Nandos and Louis parked the car near the back so it wouldn't be so obvious we were there and we walked around to the front quickly running inside but our cover didn't last long.
"OH MY GOD IS THAT ONE DIRECTION?" A girl screamed, she looked about 13 and she sat at a table with 3 other girls . They had on way too much makeup they looked orange. One was really pale and her makeup was 3 shades too dark according to Eleanor who also told us that that much eyeliner was unattractive on any age and at 13 they shouldn't be wearing any makeup but if they were a light coat of mascara and finishing powder would be enough whatever that meant.
"Umm.. No?" Zayn quickly replied to everyone sitting in the restaurant but sadly no one believed us.
"TO THE CAR!" Harry screamed. Before I knew it I was sprinting as fast as I could with about 20 girls trailing us. Louis had ahold of Eleanor's hand to make sure she wouldn't get left behind in 3 inch heels, how girls walked around in those daily I would never understand. We hiked it out to the car and Louis quickly drove away to a parking lot a block down, I wasn't going back to the flat until I got my Nandos. We sat in the parking lot a good half an hour before we decided it was safe to go back to Nandos. We walked inside carefully looking around and thankfully no one noticed our presence.
We got to the front of the ordering line and I looked up to order my food and Leslie was there behind the cash register.
*****AUTHORS NOTE*****
I almost missed this update and it might really suck, I normally write Friday, Saturday, and Sunday but I've literally been doing homework literally ALL weekend. Also about Nandos and the waiting in line I don't know if it's a sit down restaurant or anything cos I live in America and there's no Nandos here. Well I hope you all enjoy! Just wanted to let you know if you see my ideas somewhat familiar to any others you see all ideas come from my imagination I've read through and I saw at least one thing barely familiar to another story but I didn't realize until I finished writing and was editing.
I love you my little bunnies!
