*Chapter 24*

We first got here in the ambulance at 1pm now it's 4:39 and Guk has been gone for 10 minutes and Jimin is still asleep. I called Jin and made sure everything is ok. He said she's starting to get restless so they are going to go on a walk and drop by at some point.

It had been another 20 mins and I was holding Minjae because I told Jin and Kookie they could go home and thanked them for taking care of her. She was fiddling with my phone and sat on my lap.

"What do you think baby? Do you want another brother or sister?"
She looked back up at me with wonder.
"I think you will want another sister so you can play and gossip but don't you ever forget your big brother ok? He may struggle through life but you have to pull him through to the other side."
She rested her head on my chest and sucked on her pacifier sweetly. I smiled and kissed her head. I heard movement coming from the sofa so I looked over and saw Jimin rubbing her eyes. I walked over and laid Jae on his chest. He smiled at me sadly.
"Still nothing?"
I nodded.
"I'll wake you when I hear something ok?"
He nodded and went back to sleep with Jae underneath the blanket on his chest. I kissed his forehead and went back to my chair playing a game on my phone.

It must have been an hour later when Guk came back still on the bed. I smiled sadly at the doctor. He rubbed my back.

"He's going to be ok, I'll be back in a few minutes with the results"

I went over to the sofa and gently woke Jimin trying not to wake Jae.

"Baby he's back."

He nodded and slowly got up holding jae then sitting back on my lap resting Jae next to her big brother. He was awake and moving his arms around but his legs didnt move an inch. That doesn't look good. It was just then i bursted out sobbing and Jimin did the same wrapping his arms around me.
The doctor came in and saw us.

"He's paralysed isn't he?"
He nodded sadly and rubbed Jimins back.
"What can we do?"
"Not a lot at the moment like I said when he turns around 3 or 4 we can try physio to see if that does anything but if not we need to build up his muscles in his arms so when he reaches 7 or 8 he can have classes on how to use his wheelchair and how to shuffle up or down the stairs if there is no one about. I would reccomend putting one of those child gates at the top of the stairs incase he tries to crawl about...I'll be back in a few minutes to check on him."
He bowed and left the room. I curled up with Jimin on the chair being careful of his stomach. It's all my fault, if only I got to Hoseok sooner.

"I promised you I'd protect you all and I've failed and I'm so sorry"

I kept my head down until Jimin forced me to look into his eyes.

"It's not your fault ok? Don't you dare say that. You've done more for them then what they would understand. I love you baby. What happened to Minguk was not your fault."

"I love you so much Jiminie and the kids and our little one"

I held my hand on his stomach and kissed his lips. Both of the kids started crying. Jimin picked up Jae while I rubbed Guks head not sure if I am allowed to pick him up.

"Its ok, I think they are hungry did you bring any bottles love?"

He nodded and got up and passed me Jae who was whining.

"Its ok baby"

He handed me a bottle and I passed him back Jae. I tillted Guks head up trying to support him as best as I could and gave him his bottle. He took it well and he soon finished. I rubbed his chest and he burped. I put the bottle away and Jimin just finished feeding Jae and burped her.

"Do you think that we when have another baby I could breast feed?"
"What did the nurse say to you last time?"
"She said I could but it would take a while to get used to it and it would hurt with twins so I decided not to."
"If you want to baby it's up to you."
"If it's the one baby I think I might because it easier then carrying bottles but if it's more than one again that will seriously hurt so, I'll try the next time Jae needs feeding."
"You need to book an appointment baby."
"I will when Guk's better."
"No baby, go now. I've got him ok?"
I know that Jimin is still scared of leaving them on their own.
"I've got him."
I held his hand and took Minjae off him. I kissed his head.
"Go ok?"
He nodded and left.
I rocked Jae and held Guk's hand. I hummed a song and Jae fell asleep. I kissed Jae's and Guk's forehead. I put Jae on the couch with the cushion and the blanket and stayed with Guk. I held his hand and he looked at me bemused. I chuckled before resting my chin on my hand on the bed next to him.
"Your Papa is the best person I know. He's brave and strong as well as weak and fearful.
You brought me sunshine when I only saw rain.."
"..you brought me laughter when I only felt pain"
I turned around and saw Jimin smiling at me from the door.

Jimin PoV

I walked and sat down on Yoongi's lap. I kissed his lips and snuggled into his neck. He wrapped his arm around me.
"He'll be ok love, don't worry"
I nodded and kissed his cheek. I heard Minjae making some noises.
"I think Minjae is hungry again she's whining."
"Urgh, I just fed her are you sure she doesn't need a nappy change?"
"I already checked her."
I got up and rocked Jae checking her nappy and sure enough it was clean.
"Do you think I should try feeding her?"
"You said you were going to. Do you want me to turn away?"
"No it's ok, you've seen me before."
I sat back on his lap and he held my waist. I took my shirt off struggling with one hand. I put her to my chest and she immediately latched on it stung through my chest but Yoongi rubbed my back and kissed my arm before rubbing her head.
"It's ok, just relax."
She started feeding and it didn't feel to bad. I rubbed her back and Yoongi started kissing my chest rubbing my stomach.
"It's a shame you're already pregnant"
"Baby, calm down."
I looked down and saw Minguk staring up at me.
"Do you think they will let me pick up Guk?"
"I don't know baby, I really don't know. I hope so I really want to hold him."
Jae eventually stopped sucking and I placed her in her Appa's arms before putting my shirt on.
I held Guk's hand and kissed his finger. Yoongi was rocking Jae and I leant over his shoulder and saw her gazing up at Yoongi.
"You know she loves you right?"
"Yeah I know, I love her too and Guk and you and our little baby. Did you get an appointment baby?"
"Yeah I've got one tomorrow morning."
"Ok so I want you to go home tonight, you can take Jae with you. I'll get Jin to go with you so you can get a good nights rest and wake up feeling better you can go to your appointment then come here afterwards."
"But..."
"No buts love I'll stay here with Guk. Call Jin ok?"
"Ok"
I kissed his forehead and held his hand.
"You need to take care of yourself baby don't worry about the kids I'll look after them."
He nodded and I kissed his lips. He sat on the sofa while calling Jin who soon picked Jimin and Jae up.
I said bye to Jae and kissed her forehead and thanked Jin for taking them.
"I'll see you in the morning ok?"
"Yeah, I love you"
"I love you too baby"
I kissed him and he left.
