Meeting the doctor

Beep...Beep....Beep.

i woke  up to find i was in a hospital bed.  I tired to get up but it hurt to much so i just stayed where i was, i looked around to see that i had a cast on my left leg and a sling on my right arm. "ugh, what..happened" i thought to myself. i tried to remember what happened but it hurt a lot to do so, it felt as if some one was hitting my head with a hammer. I shut my eyes for a few minutes.

"Good morning..." i herd the voice of a man say. i quickly opened my eyes it was indeed a male. i guess he was my doctor. 

"morning' i said back, my voice was sorta raspy, it sorta hurt to talk as well.

"so, how are you feeling? any pains?, headaches?, aching?"he asked me, his voice soft. i thought for a few seconds before responding-

"well, it kinda hurts to think..i guess my head sorta hurts...but besides that, no nothing else hurts" the doctor made a 'uh huh' sound before saying-

" i can't say i'm  surprised . We did find you buried under a bunch of ruble after all. Some of the doctors were surprised to find you still breathing.." he said walking over to the table next to my hospital bed. There was a fresh glass of water there, he handed me a pill, and gave me the water.

"here, this will help with the migraines.." i hesitated to swallow the pill, it brought  back bad memories from Hydra,making my head hurt again.

"Crap!..." i yelled holding my head in pain, i felt tears at the corner of my eyes. The doctor saw this and made a note on his clip bored before saying-

"yeaaaah, i really think you should be taking that pill now" he smiled at me with a cheeky look on his face..i gave him a neutral face.

"yeah, no duh Sherlock!"  ( lol if you watched Sherlock Holmes you'll understand XD) i scoffed swallowing the pill, then i realized that he hadn't introduced himself to me. i looked up into his ice blue eyes and said-

"My name is Kat by the way, what's yours, you can't be my doctor and i don't even know your name!" i chuckled, he arched a brow at me then caught on to what i was saying.

"My name is doctor Stephen Strange , but Doctor Strange is fine" he stated, a little bit of pride in his voice. oh boy.  He pulled up a chair next to my bed and sat in it, clip bored and pencil at the ready..

"now that we got introductions out of the way, can you tell how you got buried under that pile of ruble? and what you were doing before that?" i thought for a minute, trying my best not to irritate my migraine anymore..then it finally clicked.

"W-well-" i started, i wasn't sure if i should tell him the truth, about Hydra..and, and my powers. Doctor Strange had a look of concern on his face.

"Kat?..."

"don't tell anyone else this, please" i begged,  he nodded, then i continued-

"i worked for Hydra...But i had no choice! they killed my...They killed my parents..." i was about to cry, but decided against it.

"you see, i was with Hydra for 2 years after my parents death...and i did horrible unspeakable things to people... they injected me with things that gave me unstable powers..my judgment was clouded..any way skip a head a year aka now i was in my cell using my powers to levitate my dad's pocket knife-" i pointed to the black web patterned knife on the desk . Strange hummed to show he was  listening.

"then, that's when it happened, one of the agents was running through the halls saying the building was coming down, i rushed to get out but before i could get to the door a bunch of rocks covered it up, then i went the opposite direction but got hit on my shoulder and on my leg as you can see, so at the last minute i used my powers to make a force field to protect myself theeeeen blacked out" i sighed with my eyes closed, afraid of what he was gonna say. i braced for impact. but it never.

"Kat, open your eyes.." he said calmly, i opened my eyes and looked down at my sheet.

"y-you're not gonna kick me out, or turn me into the police?" i asked anxiety filled my voice, he ruffled my hair.

"of course not, what type of idiot would do that?" he laughed, i smiled at him, i was glad he didn't hate me, he was definitely different from other people, some thing about him just made me feel safe and calm...

"ok, you should probably get some rest now Kat, i'll be back to check on you later, alright?" he patted my shoulder reassuringly.  i simply smiled and nodded my head, i could use the extra sleep anyway.. i thought as he left the room.

i sighed happily, thanking Lord Jesus for mercy as i drifted of into my sleep..
