After pouring a shot of our most expensive rum into the glass of ice, I filled the rest with Coke then set it on the coaster in front of the handsome stranger. "Thank you." He smirked.

He ran his fingers through his wavy hair, which was styled a little longer on the top and shorter on the sides and bottom. I had to tear my eyes off of him and his captivating brown eyes and redirected my attention to the customers next to him. I took the couple's book which contained their receipt and debit card. On my computer I ran the card and handed them the receipt to sign in the book. "Thank you, enjoy the rest of your evening!" I said, causing them to smile and thank me as well.

It wasn't very busy tonight as it's a Thursday so I pulled out my glasses and started shining them with my microfiber towel, looking up occasionally to look out for new customers, and check on Mr. Handsome.

"So, how long have you been working here?"

I looked up and the sexy man with a sexy deep voice was watching me closely.

"About a year now," I smiled, continuing to shine my glasses.

"How do you like bartending?"

"Well it's not my dream job or anything, but it pays the bills while I'm in school."

He nodded, looking intrigued. "What are you in school for?"

I began to feel like I was being interviewed. "Well," I said, setting the glass down now, "Early Childhood Development."

"You want to be a teacher?" He asked, raising his eyebrows. "You look more like an actor or model."

I laughed and knew he had to have been joking because I'm only 5 foot 2. "Nah,  not really my thing. And I actually want to be a school counselor."

"Very admirable." The man smiled, "I'm Hayden."

"I'm Audrey."

"I know."

"Hey, Audrey!"

I turned around and saw Dani standing in the entrance to the bar. "Could you please make me an old fashioned?"

I looked back at Hayden, "One sec." He nodded with a smirk. I tried not to overthink his comment, but I couldn't help but wonder why he said he knew my name. I do not recognize him as a regular customer. I think I'd remember a perfect man like that; especially because my stomach is doing flips right now.

I grabbed a glass and began making the drink. Dani came closer, "So who is that?" She asked quietly with raised eyebrows.

I laughed and tried to ignore her, "Um, a customer."

"A really sexy customer," she said looking at him over her shoulder.

"Stop," I smacked her playfully in the side then handed her the glass. "Did you ring in the drink?"

"I will right now! It's for the guy at the end of the bar," she said then began walking away towards a computer. "Get it girl!" She whispered to me, but it was actually pretty loud and I'm sure Hayden heard her because he was smiling when I walked back over.

"Anyways," I said, shining my glasses again.

Hayden ran his thumb around the rim of his almost empty glass and looked at me intensely with his piercing brown eyes. "How much for the drink?"

"Six dollars," I said with a smile.

Hayden pulled out his wallet and grabbed a fifty dollar bill. He tossed it on the counter then stood.

"Oh, just give me one second to get your change," I said, quickly grabbing the fifty.

"No," he said, adjusting his light blue jean jacket, "keep it."
