Chpt 10: Living with the League

The house seem decent enough for everyone to fit in and already Robin wants to know how they know about the motherbox.

Tyler: Well at first we thought it wasn't a box but soon enough, we started witnessing strange events that lead to the disappearences of several people.

Batman: So that explains it then.

Leon: Are those people still alive?

Tyler: I'm afraid not.

Superman: Well thanks for the info then. I'm sure we'll be able to save more people when we find that motherbox.

Tyler: I'm afraid it won't be easy.

Hawkgirl: Which is why we'll be ready.

After that meeting, they go through their day–to–day routine. Leon trains  with Ruby, Flash goes throughout the city building up his endurance, the rest are at the house doing their usual stuff. Tyler rests on one of the bedrooms with his girlfriend Mary, Batman contacts brother eye for any info on the Joker, and Leon calls the manager so he can talk to Freddy.

Manager: You mean that animatronic? But he's playing right now on stage.

Leon: Well I guess I'll call him later then.

He hangs up and continues training with Ruby.

Ruby: Hey can put some music on?

Leon: I can see why not.

Leon puts on some music which fits well to their training.

After their training, he gets a call from the manager and tells him that Freddy's ready to talk to him.

Freddy: Hey Leon, what's up.

Leon: I want to know a little more about you and your friends about...you know...

Freddy: As you can see even though we were victims once to Afton, we were able to age still, just a little more slower.

Leon: I ain't talking about how your souls age; it's just that I wanna know more about you and your friends.

Freddy: Well we did say we killed some intruders that were after the motherbox, we are not murderers.

Leon: I just don't get why you kill if you can just scare them away.

Freddy: Because those intruders aren't exactly human.

Leon: What do mean?

Batman: He means those intruders were none other than parademons.

Leon: Parademons?

Freddy: They were going to kill us so we had to do it.

Leon: Very well then. I'll tell Superman about it and we'll get some backup just in case.

Freddy: Okay. I'll guess I'll see you tonight then.

They hang up and Leon asks Batman how he knows and he tells him this.

Batman: Because I'm Batman.

Leon: 😶

Later

Superman: So those parademons also know about motherbox?

Leon: I'm afraid so.

Superman: Then that means Darksied is already here.

They talk more about Leon's plan of how to obtain the motherbox and how to defeat Darksied as they prepare for the second night to come. After that, Mangle wanted to ask Superman something.

Mangle: Hey S–Superman?

Superman: Please, call me Clark.

Mangle: But isn't that your secret identity?

Superman: I know you can keep it a secret.

Mangle: Right. So I wanted to ask you something.

Superman: What it is?

Mangle: Will...w–will you g–go out with m–me?

Superman: uh...I...I like to.

Mangle: Really?

Superman: Yeah I actually love to.

Mangle: Okay! I'll meet you at Starbucks then.

Superman: Why there?

Mangle: It's the closest to Fazbear's.

Superman: Well I guess I'll see you there.

It's already going to be night time, but Leon and Ruby wanted to rest because they have been training all day. Blue also wanted to stay so he can look out for them in case any goons of the Joker come. The rest leave and all three go and do their own thing.

Blue: I'm gonna watch Friday the 13th. You wanna watch with me?

Ruby: No thanks; we're already tired.

Blue: Suit yourselves.

Upstairs

Ruby: Hey Leon?

Leon: Yeah?

Ruby: Since there are now more people in the house, is it okay if I sleep with you on the bed tonight?

Leon: Uhh... *starts blushing* yeah okay.

At the bedroom

Ruby: Should I be next to you, like closely next to you?

Leon: Okay.

They both blush a little and snuggle up in the bed in a awkward yet comfortable way.

Ruby: You're so warm Leon.

Leon: I know.

Ruby: Well... goodnight.

Leon: Goodnight Ruby.
