SUMMARY
After Robert's Rebellion all of Westeros knew of tragedy that was Elia Martell and her children. Tywin Lannister, in a desperate attempt to prove his allegiance to Robert Baratheon, ordered the gruesome deaths of Elia, Rhaenys and Aegon Targaryen. After the brutal killings were finished the bodies were shamelessly covered with crimson Lannister cloaks and paraded in front of the new King. Unbeknownst to them that little girl under the crimson red cloak wasn't Rhaenys Targaryen, it was the body of a peasant girl.
Rhaenys Targaryen now alive spent her childhood in Dorne being raised by her two uncles Oberyn and Doran. She lived a life in exile and secrecy, her name was changed, most of her family was dead and she now lived in a world where her family's murderers were in power. The years turned the once sweet little girl into a bloodthirsty woman who wanted nothing more than revenge for what was done to her kin.
Craving for revenge, she leaves Sunspear and travels North to kill one of Robert's most formidable allies, Ned Stark. The man who aided the usurper during the rebellion, a traitor to the true crown. Driven by blood thirst she pretends to be the personal handmaiden of Catelyn Stark, waiting for the perfect moment to strike Lord Stark. Now, with the attempted murder of Bran Stark pointed at Lannister hands tensions between the North and South are higher than they've ever been before and Rhaenys realises that her and the Starks share a common enemy.
