(y/n)'s POV:
"HINAATAAA!!!" (y/n) yelled running towards her. (y/n) and hinata are bestfriends, even though (y/n) is a year older. They met through neji, neji is (y/n)'s teammate. "y-yes (y/n)-chan?" she spoke softly. (y/n) always thought hinata's way of talking was cute and she really adored hinata, she also knew about her crush on naruto uzumaki. "have you seen neji??? HE DITCHED ME" (y/n) spoke, well yelled. "o-oh i saw him w-walking towards that forest over t-there" she pointed at a forest nearby. "Thank you cinnamon roll!" (y/n) replied and ran towards the forest.
(y/n) saw neji and decided to scare him. She hid behind a tree for a bit and saw him picking flowers, she took out her camera and took a picture for blackmail later. "I know you're there" neji spoke "AND DELETE THAT PICTURE" he yelled "HAHA NO" (y/n) screamed, neji sighed and continued to do what he was doing he ran off deeper in the forest. (y/n) started to chase him but got lost.
Neji's POV:
Neji was preparing a picnic for (y/n), this was the day he was going to ask her to be his girlfriend. He was prepared for rejection obviously, he isn't stupid. He used his byakugan to search for (y/n), he found her and she seemed lost. He ran behind her and blindfolded her, she screamed and he covered her mouth. "shutup idiot it's just me" he sighed and removed his hand from her mouth as she tried to bite his hand multiple times. "why the heck did you blindfold me?" she asked confused "you'll see" he replied to her question.
He lead her to the place where he set up the picnic, and then proceeded to remove her blindfold. She stared in amazement, it was decorated beautifully. There was candles, flowers, and most importantly FOOD. She then turned to neji and hugged him tightly "you didn't have to do this y'know" she muttered gently "i had to because-" "because what?"
"you are my destiny"
