Itachi X Wife!Reader (Naruto)

Plot: Itachi and the reader had a fight, so Izumi took advantage of it.

Slightly angst? Fluff ig?

Setting: Normal not modern cuz yes

Itachi and (y/n) had gotten into another fight, why? Because of Izumi. Itachi had been hanging out with her alot recently, and (y/n) was worried that he was cheating on her, although, this was all Izumi's plan to get them to break up.

Itachi stormed out the house needing to take a breather when he saw Izumi nearby, he walked towards her to greet her.

"Hey Izumi" itachi smiled a little

"Oh hey itachi, you're not looking too well are you okay?" she asked.

"Oh well, me and (y/n) just got into another fight" he sighed.

"Really? Why's that" she asked, faking a concerned look.

"Well, she thinks I'm cheating on her with you since we hang out alot" he replied, sighing once again.

"Why don't you just get a divorce? She seems clingy" she groaned.

"Why would you even say that? Izumi you know i love her" he stared at her in disbelief.

Little did they know (y/n) was watching them.

                            -Timeskip-

(Y/n) was in the living room waiting for itachi, silently sobbing and rapidly wiping her tears away. (y/n) couldn't hear their conversation from the distance she was watching them from, but the fact that he went to Izumi right after they had a fight about her made (y/n) think that he actually was cheating on her.

It wasn't long before itachi arrived. he hesitantly opened the door, (y/n) curled up into a ball while sobbing in his view. She looked up and saw itachi staring at her, she wiped away her tears at got up, now standing infront of him.

"So you really are cheating on me huh?" she chuckled, trying not to let anymore tears fall.

"What are you talking about, I told you already I'm not cheating on you" he sighed.

"Yeah yeah, then tell me what you were doing with Izumi right after our fight ABOUT HER?!" she glared at him.

"I was just greeting he-" itachi got cut off.

"stop it with your lies, please.." her voice cracked, starting to cry once again.

Itachi stared at her with a sad look on his face, he really loved her and didn't want this to happen. He then embraced her, her tears soaking his shirt.

"(Y/n) believe it or not, I am not cheating on you. You mean so much to me, more than Izumi, shes just a friend to me and I would never do something like that to you" his voice slightly cracked as he ruffled her hair.

"I-I'm.. Sorry.." she said in between sobs.

"Don't apologize" he spoke while embracing her tighter.

She embraced him back, as they both looked at eachother, he wiped away her tears and poked her forehead. She winced and rubbed it slightly smiling.
