Too good to be true?

Off and away..but to where?

*Autumns POV*
"SHOTGUN!" I call and run to the passenger side of the camper van. I hear the others groan at my sudden outburst. "Who's driving?" Leo asks, looking around us all. No one offers themselves to drive "guess I am" Leo laughs and sits in the drivers side. "Ew I don't wanna sit next to you!" I say jokingly. He flashes me his middle finger, "I volunteer as tribute!" Sky says and pushes me out of the way of the door. I shake my head and laugh as I walk over to Dallas' open arms. I walk into them. It was a camper van (picture on side). Ocean, Grey, Dallas and I climbed into the back where there were two sofas with three seats on each. They were facing each other and had patchwork quilts on them, making the van more homely. The boys place our bags (very minimalistic may I add) in the over head shelves so they didn't take up too much room. I plop down and open the window immediately. The heat was almost unbearable. "How's it in the front?" Ocean calls through to Sky and Leo "oh just grand" Sky laughs. "Sarcastic much?" Leo says to her resulting in her giggles floating through the air to our ears. I shake my head and lean back on the sofa. "Quite comfy there?" Ocean asks sitting on my stomach. I groan "I was until a ten tonne weight was placed on me!" I giggle and shove her off onto the floor of the van which was carpeted nicely. She drags me down with her. "Thanks guys. I'd love a seat" Grey says and sits down with an over exaggerated sigh. Me and Ocean lay on the floor a giggling mess. Dallas sat down next to Grey "dorks" he remarks resulting in mine and Oceans giggling fit starting all over again.

"Guys I don't wanna drive any more!" Leo complains from the front seat. Fair play to him, he had been driving for just under three hours. We hear Sky's laugh drift through the van to us. "I'll drive!" Ocean says and stands up excitedly. "I'll come so you're not alone" Grey says and follows her. I giggle "we're so cliché" Dallas laughs making me nod in agreement. "Oh well!" Ocean calls and we were on the move again. "Did anyone bring any speakers?" I ask holding my phone up with my playlist waiting to be played aloud. "I did!" Sky smiles handing me a speaker. I connect my phone to it and my playlist blares out of them filling the van with Ed Sheeran's voice. We all sat and talked, us all trying to include Ocean and Grey in the conversation as much as we could but it was made difficult by their position in the front. "How about a game?" Dallas says filling in the silence that had previously fallen over us. "Like?" Sky asks looking up from her phone. "Hmm how about...suck and blow?" He says, wiggling his eyebrows. (A/N The Clueless reference!). I scoff "no way!" I say flatly. "Why not babe it'll be fun!" Dallas pouts. I look over to Sky who seems up for it "fine" I give in and go to get a bit of card from my bag. I cut it into a square and we stand in a line. It goes, Leo, Sky, me then Dallas. Dallas starts and places the card to his lips sucking in the air to create a suction holding the card to his plump lips. He bends down to reach my lips and passes it on, releasing the suction as I suck on it to get it to stay onto my lips. It stays successfully until Sky's lips touched it and it fell to the ground meaning we'd have to kiss. "IM NO WAY IN HELL KISSING MY BEST FRIEND!" I say loudly. The boys chuckle as Sky goes deep red agreeing with my statement "fine but next time you have to!" Leo says and picks up the paper. Dallas starts again pressing it to his lips once more. He winks at me, leaving a confused look on my face. He bends down and drops the paper "oops" he say sarcastically and presses his lips to mine. I smile at it and pull out "cheat!" I giggle but I ain't complaining! He chuckles and we play for a while. "THERES A BEACH!" Ocean calls, the first beach of the road trip! Me and Sky instantly smile and reach for each other hands to jump around and dance like idiots. After that phase was over the camper van stopped as we pulled into the almost empty beach. We look around "it's like a ghost beach.." Sky points out and I nod in agreement as we step down the ladders of the camper. Once we are off the camper we walk to the shore and look left then right. Deserted. I smile big, ready to make the best of situation. I drop my things and run straight in the direction of the water. The salty,lukewarm water hit my toes and I wiggle them in it. I twist my back to face the guys and hand signal for them to join me. The girls have no hesitation in running to me and standing next to me, the boys however took slightly more convincing. I walk to Dallas and hold his large hands with my own tiny ones. My back facing the water I manage to slightly pull him towards it. "C'mon!" I sigh, exasperated. He shakes his head "why not" I whine and cross my arms over my chest like a 5 year old. "Because,Autumn dear, I don't wanna get wet" he says and bends down so we are at eye level and taps my nose with his finger. I pout extra big "pwease" I sigh. He shakes his head and walks off to be with the guys. I flash his back my middle finger and walk back to the girls "wow good work there Autumn" Sky laughs sarcastically. I giggle "it's his fault, he's so stubborn" I whine. The girls giggle and we walk into the water and splash around. The sun beating down on us made us appreciate the water greatly. I go under and feel my head physically get cooler. I surface and smile. Sky's and Ocean's eyes were red from the water, I was suspecting mine were the same. I blink hard and decide to leave the water and lay on the sand. Dallas gestures for me to sit with him but I ignore his offer and sit a bit away from them in a huff. I sit down and take in the beautiful day and scenery. Palm trees standing tall and blue skies. I sigh happily and look around. My eyes land on a big rubble of rocks, my feet propel me towards them and I begin to climb absentmindedly. I scratch my knees once or twice but nothing I couldn't handle. I got to about midway when I hear a shout "AUTUMN WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOURE GONNA HURT YOURSELF!" Sky calls and I laugh "no I won't!" I say as if it were an obvious thing I was a rock climber (which I clearly am not) and continue my climb "AUTUMN! Get down here now!" I hear a deeper voice, damn did Sky just turn into a guy? I laugh to myself. I turn my neck and see Dallas standing below me "come down!" He says "no thanks I'm having fun!" I say and smile not wanting to stop the adrenaline I was feeling from being so high up "Autumn I mean it" he threatens "Dallas you're not my dad! You're meant to be my boyfriend! Stop telling me what to do!" I say, slightly annoyed at his over protectiveness. He shakes his head and climbs up too. Soon he's right behind me and grabs my waist and pulls me down to the shore again where I stand and look at him like he'd murdered someone "why are you treating me like a four year old?!" I say frustrated "because you're acting like one!" He says back "oh Dallas shut up and leave me alone!" I say and storm off back to the camper.

I haven't updated for AGESSSSS I'm so sorry but schools been pretty hectic! I promise I'll update a lot more often and I had 0 idea where I wanted to take this story but now I have ideas of where I wanna go with it! Anyway I hope you enjoyed this and expect more very soon!
