Luke:
"Throwing rocks at your window, at mid night. You met me in your backyard that night. In the moonlight you looked just like an angel in disguise."

I'd never done anything so reckless before. But I got advice from the guys they all said go hard or go home. The option of going home was pretty tempting right now, as I was currently shitting bricks out the front of her house. Saying I was nervous was a major understatement, I took a deep breath and swallowed my courage with a gulp so it couldn't escape. I didn't want y/n to date Jackson he is a complete douche, I need to tell her how I feel or I will regret it forever.

I removed a plank in her fence that she made loose; in the scenario that she forgot her house key which was quite a regular occurrence for her. I squeezed through the gap also doing some kind of limbo at the same time as I was a good foot taller than her. I cautiously sneak around the side of the house to scope out the situation.

All lights were off, so everyone must be in bed. Wait, of course they are it's midnight. I needed to do this right here. Right now. I grabbed a small rock and threw it at her window and waited. Nothing happened, so I grabbed a larger rock and threw that. It hit the glass with a thud and then a crack began to appear. Shit.

At least it caught her attention though. Y/N opened her window, when she saw it was me she closed her window and hopefully was coming outside to meet me; not go back to sleep. I waited patiently and damn was it worth the wait, there she was gliding off the porch and right to me, this is going to sound so cliché but she seriously looked so angelic.

She quickly closed the distance and stood on her tip toes whispering in my ear "What you've got to say better be worth the cost of replacing that window" a tingle ran down my spine. It's now or never I've made it thus far, I've gotta go through with it. Only problem I was having an internal battle with myself, how am I suppose to bring this up. No even worse what if it ruins our friendship because she thinks I'm a jealous hoe.

I admit I am a jealous hoe but that is not how i want our friendship to end. But more importantly Jackson will not treat her right and I cannot deal with that. "Y/N I-I-I" stutter out of my mouth arghhhh this isn't going to be convincing if I can't even get the words out, so I start again being assertive "Y/N Jackson doesn't deserve you, please hear me out"

"Luke" she began but I cut her off, I need to get my point across. "He is bad news, I can tell you right now there are better people out there that will treat you like a million dollars."

"Luke-"

"He is only going to use you to get more populate because he is dating the most beautiful girl anyone has ever laid eyes on, but not only are you gorgeous, you have a great personality, incredibly talented and the smartest girl I have ever met. But he doesn't see you for that, he is so blinded by his own reputation, he is way too self absorbed to deserve you Y/N."

"Luke..."

"Please I'm begging you; find someone who treats you like a princess... choose me" I trailed off

She stares up at me with wide eyes, looking pure, innocent I can't let Jackson corrupt her.

"Luke where is this coming from?"

"I can't, I just can't watch him destroy you. He is nothing but a player"

"Is that all? Cause I already know."

"And I..." I pull her into me and wrap my arms around her small frame burying my face into her soft hair. "I love you"

Those words were barely audible but she heard them and pushed me away. Not gonna lie that cut me deep, rejection hurts but once you've uttered those words with true meaning behind them is feels worse than having your gut wrenched out. But what happened next took me by surprise; her lips were on mine.
