CHAPTER 2

As soon as (Y/n) entered my house, I could already tell she was overwhelmed by the unfamiliar items. The first thing I noticed was the chips and dip on the kitchen counter. I told (Y/n) to wait near the couch as I walked into the kitchen. I grabbed a chip and scooped up some of the guac. "What's that?" I jumped back and nearly choked on the sharp chip as I looked beside me to find (Y/n) staring at the chips and guac with curiosity. 'Why didn't she go to the couch like I told her? Oh yeah, she's a goddess that rules an entire world, she probably thinks she doesn't take orders.' "I told you to go to the couch." I said with a cough, hitting my chest. "I don't know what a couch is." She responded simply as she analyzed the guac carefully. "I don't think I've ever eaten anything with 286 calories."

My eyes widened. "Wait, you can see how many calories a food has?" She picked up a chip from the bag and analyzed it carefully. "Yes, it's one of my powers." 'That's a fun game to play.' I went around my kitchen and collected random food items and brought them to the counter in front of (Y/n). For the next couple minutes she told me the exact calorie number of each food I laid in front of her and she was correct everytime when I looked it up. I was about to hand her another food item but she repeated the question on her mind. "What are these?" She motioned towards the chips and guac. "Those are chips and that's guacamole. A lot of people just eat the chips but it has more flavor when you dip it in dip, I prefer it in guac." I answered. I picked up a chip and gave her one too and showed her how to dip it in the guac correctly. Somehow she got 6 inches of guac on her chip. I facepalmed. 'This is gonna be harder than I expected.'

I brought (Y/n) to my personal storage room. I just had a lot of crap but I didn't want to throw it all away because I still use all of it. "I'll clean out all my crap tomorrow so I hope that's fine with you. But you can sleep in here for as long as you want until you leave the human world." She nodded before I pushed some boxes out of the way and I pulled out the deflated air mattress from one of the boxes. I blew through the small tunnel to try and inflate it for the god right next to me. "I'll do it." She said, more of a command than a suggestion. I moved out of her way and right away she blew into the tube and the whole mattress inflated fully in less than a second. 'Woah. That must be another one of her powers.'

"So, um, can I have my sweatshirt back?" I asked, remembering that she was still wearing my sweatshirt. She glared at me and hugged the clothing on her body. "It's comfortable. I want it." It suddenly hit me that she's gonna have to get new clothes to fit into our society. "Fine you can have it for now but tomorrow I'll take you to the shopping mall so you can pick out your own clothes." "What's a shopping mall?"

"It's just a place with a bunch of connected buildings. You can buy clothes, food and pretty much anything." (Y/n) nodded, way too interested. I turned around to leave for a short moment to get a pillow and blanket for her but... do dragons even need those things? I faced her again. "Do dragon goddess' need like clouds to sleep in 'cause that might be a problem." She shook her head. "I don't need sleep but I like to. I always sleep in my dragon form in a cave where the most warmth is and I cover myself in jewels and gold." 'Jesus christ.'

"Um hold that thought." I said with a nervous tone. I went to my room and collected my extra blankets and pillows then returned to (Y/n)'s new room. As soon as I fully opened the door I felt a quick light pain hit right in between my eyebrows. I stumbled back a little and winced but looked up to see the cause. (Y/n) smiled as she held the Nerf gun, proud that she figured out how to use it. She giggled. "That was most enjoyable."
