the beginning and the end

" tell me .. what do you see ?" A voice echos through the silence .
My mind aching .. something dark and cold grasped at every nerve in my brain. All I felt was pain .. death .. " I .. I see war " I said. My palms sweaty and gripping the material at my knee.
I heard all their cries for help, and yet there wasn't anything I could do .
I felt their light fading and pulling from life. "who could do such a thing?" I thought.
I shivered and I heard my master call out to me. I could feel they knew it too.. something horrific was happening. Something that was far beyond my understanding, and maybe even the start of something new.
