Jungkook POV

The filled up room tonight somehow made me uncomfortable not in a bad way but in a way that something part of me was missing. Even though I was pretty engaged with everyone's tonight, but at the same time, I felt lonely without Lisa. I was disappointed when I got told Lisa wasn't going to make it tonight despite her own thing with her family, but I understand her situation to have a father whose a CEO usually take up her times up on a Friday night despite having important gatherings and meetings which includes her to take parts in.

My family and I had gathered together tonight to celebrate my grandparent's 50th anniversary, and I was excited to see some of my relatives tonight, but I quickly regret it when my love life begins to be the main topic of the night. My grandparents were more thrilled about my love life instead of their 50th celebration of being together and since it did make my grandparents and family happy, the idea of my love life didn't bother me of being the main topic.

"So son, when did exactly you and Lisa begin dating?" My father asked and I couldn't help but notice him smiling ears to ears.

"Uhm, it's been 3 months now," I replied embarrassingly when I felt everyone stares from our table.

"Oh honey, don't be embarrassed about being in love," I heard my grandmother's soothing voice after she witnessed my face turning red.

"I heard you and her have been close friends ever since, and now you two are dating. I can tell you that's the best feeling when you win someone's heart." Grandfather added as his eyes never left grandma's eyes.

The love my grandparents have for each other was the highlight of the night. I was taken aback on how two people can deeply love each other so much like my grandparents, and after so many years their love for each other only grow bigger and stronger which is something I wish to experience with Lisa.

"Oh but sweetheart," my grandma called out and I was all ears for what she had to say.

"Whatever happens to that other one? I forgot her face," I was a bit confused, but it quickly clicks in my mind that she was talking about Hanna.

"We didn't work out grandma," I replied back quickly when I felt my phone vibrated.

I excused myself away from my family to answer Lisa's calls. Before I left the table, I heard my grandpa calls out after me to invite over my girlfriend so they can meet her.

I let out a chucked before answering the call, "Yeah babe?"

"Hi Kook, I'm sorry for interrupting your time with your family." I heard Lisa apologetic voice on the other line.

"You're fine baby, are you okay? What's wrong," I asked worriedly.

"I'm fine, I'm about to head home, but if you still want me over to meet your family I think can come over."

"My family and I would love to have you over, please be safe on your way here. I love you."

"I love you too, see you in a bit."

I hurriedly walked back to the kitchen before taking a seat, my grandpa chuckled loudly which grabs everyone's attention to him including mine. "I know that look," he teased, and I only act dumb in front of my family.
