Kate's P.O.V
I wish everything was a dream.
I wish my dad was a dream I wish my mom was here I wish my sister was a better person I wish ... I just wish my life was better.
"Kate wake up." A unfamiliar voice said
I tried opening my eyes but try were struggling I tried again and finally they open.
"Kate?" The man in white called my name numerous times before I could take in reality and wake up.
"Yes?" I began looking around
"Where's my kids?" I asked
"We have no record of you having any kids" the doctor was confused and slightly curious.
" I don't, they're like my kids." I say aggravated.
"Oh ok you must be talking about your neices and nephew?"
"Um yes?" I asked
"They have been admitted... All three." He said checking the chart.
"What?" I asked
"Your KiDs have been admitted. They were all beaten almost to death." The doctor looked like he seen a ghost.
I cried.
For the first time in forever they took punishment because I was selfish and fell in love with the gangleader I was sold to. I'm a selfish person now I see why everyone hates me. Im disgusting.
" Shh calm down their injuries are healing they've been admitted for a while... Keep your head up and be the best mother you can be."
"I'm horrible I can't protect them anymore I'm weak and I'm selfish." I sobbed
" Far from it you should be dead right now." The doctor said sitting down on the bed beside me.
"Dr.Salem." he extended his hand.
"Katie." I nodded N shook his hands wiping my tears after he let go.
" Oh yeah and Cole just signed the adoption papers and put both you and his name on it .. so now you are considered their legal guardian." He smiled walking out the room but I stopped him.
"What?" I said mouth wide.
"Anna, Charlie,and Ava? They are now legally your kids they were put in the system as your children that way you can get help taking care of them and you can bring them to the hospital without paying out of pocket you and Cole black are their legal guardians." He said reaching for the door.
"Wait!" I got up.
"Take me to them." I demanded.
