Kate P.O.V.

It's been 5 months since me and cole broke it off but I let the kids see him on the weekend they come back telling me about Amy and how nice she is speaking of that I'm about to drop them off now.

"Come on midgets" I said in a teasingly voice

"Coming Mommy" They scream I swear why do they talk at the same time

"You have 5 seconds" I scream while smiling

"5" I waited a little bit

"4" I screamed

"3" I screamed

"2" I screamed

They both came down the stairs panting I laughed at their faces

"Lets go angles" I said

We got in the car and drove off.

Did I forget to tell you 4 months ago my dad got arrested for murder wow I know I watched him get thrown in the police car and even.........................the.........................smirk...........................on....................his........................face.

Anyways we were making our way to Cole's house I don't like going though because I remember all the times we played around the yard, sleepovers, and just him I missed all of it don't get me wrong but after that surprise I knew it was best for us to have time away.

We pulled up I took their bags and walked towards the door and anna knocked the door swung open with a smiling amy and her bump is so noticeable I smiled.

"Hey amy" I said

"Hey kate" She said looking at me smiling I smile back

"Since you can't carry it I will" I said she smiled and moved I grabbed their clothes and brought them to their rooms it's the same as I left it I smiled I turned and walked down stairs.

"Give mommy a kiss" I said they both ran tackled me and kept kissing my face it was tickling

"Okay Okay" I said in-between laughs but they kept going.

"Guys stop" I said still laughing they stopped laughing I wiped all their spit off of my face and kissed them.

"Love you guys and be good" I said

"We will be good for our new step-mom" They said again with talking at the same time but the word that caught me was step-mom.

"Step-mom?" I said they nodded

"New?" I said they nodded I looked at amy and back at them 

"Fill me in" I said bending at their level

"Well daddy asked Amy to marry him and he told us to call her step-mom" Anna said

"Where's 'daddy' at?" I said they pointed at a door I didn't care I walked in he looked up and his eyes widen and he stood up.

"Why would you tell my kids to call amy step-mom without my consistent?" I said in a calm voice but by the look on his face he knew I was angry

"I do-" I cut him off

"Don't ever do that again they will not call her that not a day in my life will mom nor step-mom be used against anyone else but me because I AM THEIR REAL MOTHER" I said turning on my heels and walking out I closed the door just to hear it open I knew he was behind me.

"Babies?" I called out they came running

"Give me more kisses I won't see y'all all weekend" I fake pouted they giggled and started kissing me all over I hear a laugh behind me I turn around amy and cole are smiling looking at us I turn around before my tears could fall I looked at anna and charlie and they seemed to notice they pulled me outside and into the car.

"Mommy if your not over him we understand?" Anna said

"I am I am it's just I want you guys to be happy and I'm scared that I can't make you happy" I said sobbing they both hugged me and I hugged back

"We all make mistakes so we will forgive you but you need to forgive him you don't have to get back together because he's marrying amy but you can forgive him" Charlie said

"I love you guys" I said smiling while tears streaked down my face

"We love you more" They said 

"I love you most" I kissed them and took them in the house

"Well bye guys I have to go to work be good and on your best behavior when I come get you we will have a sleepover in my room okay?" I said and smiled my fake smile I closed the door got in my car and left.
