Emily's pov:

it's over, i did it. no more monsters. i look at brother and he seems concerned for me, probably cause i have blood coming out of both nostrils and both ears. i assure him that i'm fine and that i just need a washcloth to wipe off all this blood. i feel exhausted so brother had to carry me out of there. i see everyone looking at me with worried looks one there faces. i see Eleven and smile softly. "El, i did i...closed the portal. its all over now. phew! man, am i tired..." :i speak with a bit of a raspy voice from how loud i screamed. i feel better now, i saved the town, my brother, my family and my friends. now i can finally rest easy at night knowing i have nothing to fear. i get in the car and we drive off the lab building gets smaller and smaller as we drive farther and farther away from it. we go home and i drag myself over to couch and falling onto it and sleep like the dead. the next day the sun was shining brightly. i get and i see Billy coming out of the kitchen with two bowls of cereal,we eat then head out to face the day doing whatever we want, its a day...where no one has anything to fear, we're safe.

i see Max and her friends as we pass the arcade, i wave to her and smile. we go to the pool finally being able to relax, it was a nice feeling to have now that there's no demodogs or demogorgons to fight anymore, life is wonderful for me. i can finally smile and not have to feel like i'm ALWAYS on edge fearing that me or my brother are going to get attacked at anytime. but then why do i feel like...something is off? eh, i'm sure its nothing...i'm probably just not used to being able to relax at anytime yet. i'll get there eventually. i smile, me and Billy went to get some ice cream it was relatively warm out today which is a bit uncommon. i see government cars drive pass us and out of the town wheeling away all that awful equipment from that dreadful lab. guess things around here really are back to normal.

i see a patch of land torn up and a sign saying: future home of the new starcourt mall! a mall! oh my gosh, i can't wait that sounds like so much fun and i grin happily. i'm so happy that the shadow monster was stopped and i feel rather proud that i'm the one who stopped him and saved our lovely town.

i feel like this cause i, am they're hero and...a hero never quits.
