Chapter 7: Loose Demodogs

Emily's pov:

This is bad this is very bad, i listened to what Mike had to tell me on the walkie talkies...he said that not only has Eleven ditched town but apparently Dustin had a baby demodog in his room that escaped and ate him cat Mews...shit, shit, shit, shit! we're screwed we need Eleven to close the gate. wait, DO we really need Eleven to close the gate? i can do it myself, i've got the same powers as her so, technically i can close the gate myself. i go to find Brother, i find sitting on the couch lifting weights...that explains why he's so buff. "Brother, we're in deep shit...like the kind that could get us killed..." :i tell him, a serious expression on my face. He stops lifting weights and sets down the barbells, and looks at me...

"What do you mean...killed?" :he asks starting to sound just a bit scared. of course he'd be scared, he's seen a demogorgon before so...i don't blame him. "i mean, more creatures from the upside down...one that is way worse than that demogorgon you saw...we need to close the gate." :i tell him with a hint of fear in my voice. his eyes widen as he realizes i'm not joking and that this is serious. "W-What about Eleven? can't she close the gate? this sounds dangerous." :he asks me. i frown and sit beside him. "Billy, i was just talking with Mike...Eleven ran off and ditched town. That means, it has to be me who closes the gate." :i respond with a frown. He looks concerned but nods in understanding. and that's when i hear it, those harrowing howls...no, no, no! There are demodogs outside! "Billy, did you hear that? Demodogs, three of them by the sounds of it..." :i tell, a bit of fear in my voice. His eyes widen. I sigh get up and grab the bat Max left out here for me, it had a bunch of nails pierced through it's end. i throw the bat to my brother and roll up my sleeves preparing to fight. "Get ready, cause here they come." :i speak. i open the door with my powers, a demodog runs into the room. here we go. i extend my hand out to it and slam it into the ceiling and then onto the floor in front of Billy. "Bash its head in! now!" :i yell to him as another demodog comes barreling through the door. i hear the back come flying down about four times before it stopped. i slammed the next demodog into the ceiling, then the bookcase and then repetitively bash it into the ground till its dead. the last one comes through the door, i slammed into the ceiling twice then throw it to Billy's feet. he smashed its head in. i sigh and close the door, locking it. "looks like that's all of them..." :i say with relief. i look at Billy, he's still tightly clutching that bat, black blood splattering the bat and the ground around him...he looks a bit traumatized...

"We need to go find Max. She should be at Dustin's with Dustin and his friends. lets go, we need to formulate a plan to close the gate once and for all." :i tell him and he just nods. we head out to his car, he brings the bat with him just in case...good. We arrive at Dustin's house and we see Steve Harrington standing in front of the front door, Billy looks mad but i nudge him and tell him there's no need to start to any unnecessary fights. he sighs but then nods as we get out of his car. we walk up to Steve. "Why are you here Hargrove? She isn't here." :Steve tells us, i get annoyed. "Yes she is Steve, i can sense her. don't lie to me. my name is Emily, Emily Hargrove. but my friends call me fifteen." :i tell him in a calm voice. he looks at me bewildered and i sigh in annoyance, i pull up my sleeve on my left arm and show him my number tattoo, his eyes widen in surprise. "Eleven isn't the only one who escaped the lab." :i tell him. he steps aside and we go inside, i see everyone's here. Dustin, Mike, Lucas, Max and Hopper. I see Will too but, judging by the fact he's tied up, his eyes and ears covered...i'd say he's being used as a spy by the mind flayer himself. i walk over to Mike, with a bit of a smile on my face.

Mike's pov:

"Hi Mike, looks like we got some trouble on our hands. we need to find a way to close the gate, once and for all." :she speaks first before i can even say anything. i looked at her baffled for a moment but then i do recall that she has the same powers as Eleven, so i nod agreeing with her. "You can close the gate, right?" :i asked her. "Yes, that is why i'm here. we need to find the gate and close it once and for all before things get any worse than hey already have." :i respond quickly. i nod. "but, where is the gate at?" :i ask her. "The same place me and Eleven escaped from...the lab. we have to go to the lab, the gate is there but also many demodogs. and by the looks of it on the way here, the power went out inside the lab." :she responds. My eyes widen in shock, we have to go to the lab are you crazy! "the group that will go to the lab shall be, me...obviously. Billy, Hopper, Joyce and Bob. Sound good?" :She asks me with a serious look on her face. i nod. so its a deal then, me, Lucas, Dustin and the others will free Will from the shadow monsters control...while the others go into the lab and close the gate once and for all.
