Rated: PG-13 || Characters: Oc and Atom
Authors note: Hey guys! Before we started I wanted to say that there won't be a lot of speaking in this chapter. As it's more of a baseline then a chapter. But have a nice read!

Phoenix is not a normal kid. She grew up in a lab run by no other then himself Atom. At the time Cradle was in a somewhat peaceful stage, there was no wars going on between the red and black king. Phoenix had been made a "weapon" by atom, since his goal from the start was to control cradle for himself. Her magical power was better then any humans living in Cradle. She spent many nights ether being tested on or sitting on the cold floor of her cell where she has been living since she was a infant. Though she had no knowledge of her family, and didn't even know what a family felt like .She didn't like the idea to use her power to destroy the land. She could only see the outside from very small window in her cell. Or she would be told by the lab people who worked on her.
Each night she wrote into a small leather covered journal. Each paged filled with that she did of that day. Today's journal page said.....
[Today has been a lone day. Of course atom made me do loads of testing my ability's, my body's aching. I don't know how many times today they used that shocker on me, I really don't think I'll be getting out of here anytime soon. But I want to leave this place.]
The journal ended shorter then normal tonight. She didn't have much motive to write. She placed the book back in its spot. Laying down on her crappy mattress that she called a bed and a pulled a large cloth over her which she called a blanket. She fell asleep shivering....cold....powerless......under the half moon in cradle

River here again! I wanted to keep this chapter short, I didn't want to kill you guys on a beginning. I promise it will get better from here on out. Just know this story is a few months old and has been hiding in my notes section for awhile!
