Chapter 2: Affinity

Weeks have passed and the two of them are slowly getting familiar with the world's language and how it works.
Kara who has been studying in the Village's Library all week, and Avi who has been secretly practicing witch craft.

Kara and Avi are relaxing under a tree by the village's garden.

Kara asks Avi.
"Avi. How's your information gathering been?"

Avi replies
"good. I've gathered some useful information"

Kara sits down and starts to explain on what he learned
"I'll go first. First of all, we're in a different world now, in this world, they
have magic and knights and kingdoms. Mages are very common in this world
and it is said that magic is all around us. And there's this thing called "magic points." I've been studying in the library for days now, and I already know how to control the magic inside me, but I still don't know how to use it, there are also different kinds of magic affinities like fire, water, earth, wind, light, dark, summoning magic, curse magic, and some other magic which are very rare like, creation magic, life magic, space magic, illusion magic, Rare magic, legend magic and God-tier magic, and forbidden magic and also a few more."

Avi was surprised.
"so many types of magic. I wonder if we can learn any of them"

Avi then starts to explain her information
"My turn. There are about 4 kingdoms in this world. First is the Magistrate Kingdom, they solely focus on their agriculture and has little power, but they say they have a sage. Then there's LeClair kingdom, who focuses on their army, Then the Redfield kingdom, that has the most land and then there's the kingdom of Camelot, which is said to be the nicest kingdom of all. The closest kingdom to us right now is the kingdom of Camelot."

Kara says.
"if we were to travel, the closest place to go is Camelot huh. But let's not
think about traveling yet. We're still weak."

Avi proudly says to Kara
"We should learn magic and swordsmanship!"

Kara curiously asks
"but how? I mean, I know how to control magic in my body, but casting magic? I still don't know how"

Avi smiles and looks at their house "I know someone who can help us."

And so, they went back to their house.

They yelled.
"Dante-sama! Vergil-sama!"

Dante was in the living room, he went out to see what was happening and asks
"What's all the noise about?"

They look at Dante with sparkling eyes and asks.
Avi hold Dante's hand
"can you teach us magic? Please!!!!"

Dante was doubting himself and says.
"eh? But I'm not good with magic. I can only do a few tricks but I'm no good. I'm good at
swordsmanship not magic. If you want to learn magic, ask Vergil. He's outstanding magician."

And so again, they ran off to find Vergil. By the gates, they saw Vergil talking with the gatekeeper.
Avi shouted
"Vergil-sama!"

Vergil looks at the two and asks
"What's all the noise about?"

"teach us magic please!" Avi begged.

"I don't see why not. But Kara too? I always thought that you'd be more
into swordsmanship. Since Dante started training you." Vergil said.

Kara started to remember something.
"about that....."

Dante is training Kara how to protect himself and all his loved ones with the sword.
Outside the gates, in the forest they start with the basics.
