Remembering to Forget

Chapter 2, Amnesia

Olivia was out of hospital two days now and she spent all of that time in her apartment which she hadn't left at all. There was a loud knocked and Olivia opened the door, not even looking through the peephole. "I told you at the hospital I don't know any Elliots" she said but he was determined, he stopped her from slamming the door with his hand.

"You didn't even know your name yesterday!" he yelled and Olivia put a hand to her head.

"Yes I do! I'm Olivia Benson I work at SVU my partner is Nick Amaro and my stalker is Elliot Stabler" she said closing her eyes tightly.

"Liv are you OK?" he asked and Olivia became agitated.

"I said I'm fine!" she snapped as tears filled her eyes.

"Liv you need a doctor" he said softly putting a hand on her shoulder.

"Don't you Liv me! You don't even know me! I don't even know me!" she yelled and Elliot backed off putting his hands up in surrender. Olivia slammed the door shut and leaned against it, bringing her knees to her chest. Tears flooded her face, after awhile she couldn't even remember why she was crying, she wasn't sure if it was the pain or the strange man or maybe she couldn't hold it in anymore, maybe she wasn't as strong as she was made out to be.

"Olivia! Liv come on get up!" Amanda called knocking rapidly on Olivia's door. Olivia sat up on the floor she realised she'd passed out by the door.

"I'm coming" she said groggily. She got up and opened the door Amanda looked her up and down.

"Liv sweetheart, look at you" she said with her slight southern accent.

"I'm fine" Olivia said sleepily "why're you here anyway?" she questioned.

"You asked me to take you to therapy today" she said and Olivia was lost.

"I did?" she asked.

"Yeah last night before you came home.." she trialed.

"I'm sorry I-I didn't remember" Olivia stuttered. "Did I really say that?" she asked.

"Yeah... you were worried about meeting Simon in case you didn't recognise him" she said and this confused Olivia to a large extent.

"Who's Simon?" she asked.

"Your brother" Amanda said and Olivia sat down on the couch. Why're you such an idiot! He's your brother, your BROTHER and you can't even remember him Olivia thought to herself. She got ready and they headed out the door.
