When Marinette and Adrien went back to work the next day, Marinette Dupain-Cheng was beyond nervous. Now that Gabriel Agreste was missing, everything was up in the air. Plus without the Ladybug and Chat Noir miraculouses she and Adrien were just two teenagers powerless to stop the fast-approaching end of the world as they knew it.

They had missed two days of work and Mari didn't know if she'd have a job to go back to. That was before they talked to Bridgette. After they talked to her, Mari realized she had a lot bigger problems to worry about than her current employment status.

"There you are Adrien," she said after looking up from the current semi-formal shots that John and the other two models were posing for. They were way behind schedule now, and Adrien could tell Bridgette and Pierre were struggling to catch up.

"Sorry that we were out for two days, but it's my fault," Adrien said, hoping that she wouldn't take anything out on Marinette.

"That's ok. I was able to secure the place for a few more days if we promised to do some engagement shots here to help them with the destination wedding website promotion."

Marinette's face went pale, but Adrien's face was blank. "What engagement shots?"

Bridgette was too busy to answer and she was already on the phone.

That's when Marinette realized that she hadn't released the miraculous ladybugs so nothing had been fixed yet. They had left the Akuma in the house since it was empty and with the house on lockdown the Akuma couldn't get out. But it also meant that everything that Adrien had done as Chat Blanc was still in place. Marinette hadn't checked her phone yet, but now she guess she didn't need to. She thought that he was posting stuff under Chat Blanc, or even Chat Noir-- but no. He was using his real name.

She turned as red as a tomato and then covered her face. Oh no. Please, nobody tell him.

"What do you mean he hasn't answered? He always answers. Try him again," Bridgette motioned for Adrien and Marinette to talk with the photographer. Mari guessed that she was trying to get a hold of Gabriel. Hawk Moth finally got what he always wanted and now he's missing, so good luck with that.

After talking with Pierre, they were directed to split up and get dressed into the semiformal wardrobe and then Bridgette motioned for Marinette to go to make up. She smiled when she saw Alice and Jean-Jaques again. They quickly got to work and Jean was already beaming at her.

"You will just have to let me do your hair for the big day. We can do an updo, or we can have it down. You just say the word and you'll get it. Your hair will be of a beauty that only angels dream of." He jumped and clapped his hands in excitement, almost as if it were his own wedding he was dreaming of.

"And it'll be an honor to do your makeup for the big day, Mari. Whether you want a natural look or an elegant one. I will make sure you look fit to be a queen," Alice said with a little less exuberance than Jean-Jaques.

"Guys, that's really nice of you, but we haven't even set a date yet..." Mari said, too embarrassed to explain the real situation with either one of them.

They exchanged a look before Alice responded. "Mari there's already an announcement for June 1st."

What? That's less than four months away. The last time Mari had heard Chat Blanc mention a date it was for the first time they met at school which would be clear in September, but she had clearly told him that she wasn't ready. "There must be some mistake." She checked her phone and looked up Adrien's social media, and sure enough, there was a message with a date.

Adrien: Fans, friends, and family-- I just want everyone to know that I've finally found the love of my life, Marinette Dupain-Cheng, and I just can't wait to make her my wife. I've reserved the perfect place for us to exchange our vows on June 1st. More details to come.
