Jimin stretched his hand out to me and I accepted it, curtsying as a thanks. He pulled me towards him, snaking his arms around my waist, he leaned towards me, I leaned back. "Don't want to mess up my makeup now do we?" I whispered, he groaned. "Maybe later" I winked, walking towards the door. "Wait" he grabbed my wrist, I turned, "Can you do my tie?" He rubbed his neck, embarrassed.
I wrapped the tie around his neck and knotted it, "Happy?" I asked. "Very, thanks" he grabbed my hand in his and pulled me down the stairs with him.
"What took you guys so long? Wow Y/N you look amazing!" Tae was walking in the hall wearing a tuxedo as well, "Thanks" I smiled, "It takes a while to look like this, you guys know that, right?"
We sat in the living room, all of us on the sofas. "So, what's this about a game?"
I sat in the front passenger seat, Jungkook driving the car, Suga and J-Hope in the back. "Where are we going?" I asked, not recognising the roads we were driving along. "It's about half an hour away." I groaned, beginning to feel the car sickness grow in my stomach.
I stared at a spot in the horizon, trees wizzing past, the boys were laughing in the car behind me, talking about the little things, the yellow car we saw zoom past, the funny shaped clouds in the sky.
"What about you Y/N" J-Hope tapped my shoulder, "What about me" I was jolted out of my day dreams. J-Hope laughed, "What would you want to be if you weren't, well you know, forced to work for BigHit?" I wasn't sure about this, "Well I took psychology as my major in school so I guess I would've been a psychologist or something" I shrugged.
The rest of the car ride was silent, I rolled down my window, not caring if it messed up my hair, I needed fresh air. "What's up?" Jungkook asked, looking at me sideways while still concentrating on the road. "What do you mean?" I turned to him. "Why'd you open the window? It's not that hot in here." He said, confused. "I get carsick" I sighed.
We parked in the car park and looked around, but the others hadn't got here yet. I texted Jimin,
Looks like we beat you here
I laughed to myself, showing Suga my message, but then he pointed at the screen.
Better walk inside and think again
I pouted as we walked inside, seeing the others already sat at the table. "What took you so long" Jimin joked. "Ha ha" I said as he pulled out a chair for me.This was gonna be a long night.
PD Nim sat at the top of the table, we ordered our drinks and all talked together. When the drinks came PD Nim tapped his fork against the glass, gathering everyone's attention.
"I'd just like to thank everyone for coming, it's not often I surprise you all with a dinner out at a fancy restaurant" he chuckled, this restaurant being one of the fanciest in the city, but PD Nim had been to much posher restaurants before. "Food's on me tonight. Eat up!" He finished.
I talked and drank and ate to my hearts content, enjoying the freshly cooked meals made by professionals, rather than our home cooked meals, not that there was anything wrong with them.
It was the end of the night, we were all saying goodbyes. Jungkook looked a little drunk, I walked over, "How much did you drink?!" He hiccuped as an answer. "You're not driving, I'll do it." I said confidently.
We switched who was in each car, Tae wanting to go in with Jungkook, and Jimin wanting to go with me, I smiled.
I turned on the SatNav, not knowing the direction myself. Jungkook fell asleep in the back after five minutes, and Tae didn't seem far off. "So, the guys told me you majored in psychology, does that mean you can read my mind?" Jimin joked, "Psychology isn't about reading minds, it's about understanding behaviours" I pushed him, while keeping one hand on the wheel.
I wasn't sure where we were anymore, I don't even think the SatNav did either, it stopped in the middle of an empty street. "Um Jimin" I turned to him, slightly panicking. "I think we're lost."
