Subway boy

Aliyah POV

I get up, showered, and dressed quickly, and before anyone asks...yes, I'm aware that it's only 4 am. I get the kitchen ready for Alice, the one chore I'm not allowed to do is cook. Alice loves cooking so she does it. I run out the door stealing some strawberries. I run to Ethan's house, Ethan is my boyfriend and best friend. His family makes us breakfast and we both take the subway with Maya who met us there. Alice and  Eric have no idea that I have a boyfriend, but Emmiline and Jacob do. The three of us climb through Riley's window and plan our amazing escape.  "Why do we have to sneak out the house, if we're not doing anything wrong until we sneak onto the subway?" Riley asked. "You seriously think you of all people can just walk past your parents?" I ask. "I'm ready." Riley says. "Show us your face as you walk past your parents." Maya says. Riley makes a scared/ sad face. "Why are you making that face at us Riley?" Ethan asks pretending to be her parents. "Because we're sneaking onto the subway." Riley says. I collapse into a fit of laughter. "What?" Riley asks me. "Dios mio, eso fue malo!!!" I shouted still laughing. "Esperaba algo peor." Ethan says. "Wow Riley they had no confidence in you," Maya says jokingly. "We did but she's a terrible liar," I say. "Out the window?" Riley asks. "Vamos." I say. "You know what I'm thinking, this is not your world," Cory says climbing in. "If it was Maya, Aliyah, and Ethan would have you on the subway thinking you pulled something over on me, but you didn't, you know how I know? Look at ya!!" Cory shouts. Then blah blah and blah happens and Ethan is dragging me out the window. At the subway we ran into Dweezil and Gretchen, which is why Riley is walking like an idiot. We go to the poles Ethan and I hold onto one while Riley and Maya hold onto another. "Whoa Riles you don't do lipgloss." I say. "What I forgot to mention is I completely reinvented myself, I ride the subway now, I have kiwi lips now, and I'm just as cool as you three now." Riley says. "Let's see how cool you are when you look at him." I say pointing to some semi cute guy in the seats reading. Riley turns back to us with a goofy grin. "You're gonna need some lessons, let Maya and I show you everything you need to know about boys and girls." I say. Most people would think Ethan would be pissed at me for doing this, those people are wrong. Ethan trust's me for some reason and I don't betray people's trust. Plus Maya and I do this a lot. The two of us look at each other and start to walk up to the guy. "Hi that's Maya and I'm Ali," I say. "But you're super cute," Maya said as I bat my eyes a bit. "You make us happy." I say. "You're not paying enough attention to me," Maya says. "I think he's paying more attention to you." I say. "We're over." Maya and I say. "It's us not you, maybe." Maya says. "We can still be friends." I say. "But not really." Maya says. We walk back to Riley and Ethan flipping our hair.
Ethan POV

At lunch I sit with my friends and girlfriend and then i leave with Farkle to go to Cory's class. I sat in the front of the room in Ali's seat and Ali usually sits on my lap. Today Ali, Maya, and Riley are late but I'm used to this. "Riley you're late to your father's class." Cory says. "Oh but Cory you wrote her a note." Ali says. "I did?" Cory asks. "He did?" Riley asks. "Oh you did, I remember now." Riley said handing the note to her dad. I felt somebody tap me on the shoulder. I turn around and Yogi passed me a note.
"Will you go out with me, I think you're super cute and deserve way better than my foster sister.
- from Emmi 😍😍😍" I read in my head. I roll my eyes. Emmi has been trying to get me to go out with her since I started dating Ali. I flip it over and write "no." I can't stand Emmi. I folded it twice and pass it back. I turn around and look at her face. She looked angry and embarrassed as she tore the note into pieces. "What was that about?" Ali asked me whispering in my ear. "Your sister is annoying me again." I answer. "Foster sister." Ali says. We turned towards Cory and start listening to him talk again. "The civil war!!!" Cory exclaims. "The civil bore!!!" Ali, Maya, and I mock him. "Thank you future mini mart employees of the month." Cory says. "We'd be making more money than you right?" Ali asks. Cory stopped to think about this before continuing. "The civil war, anyone?" Cory asks. "A war we fought against ourselves." Riley answered. "You actually studied this?" Cory asks. "No I'm living it." Riley says. "People are here to learn or not!!!" Farkle yells. "Not," Ali answers quickly. "What do you mean Farkle?" Cory asked ignoring her. "I've been in love with Riley since the first grade." Farkle continued, "But I'm also equally in love with Maya and Ali." I roll my eyes and pull Ali a little closer. "Some say the greatest mystery of the world is who will be the first misses Farkle." Farkle said. "You don't want this." Maya and Ali automatically say. "Bring it on!!!" Farkle shouts. "Farkle I have a boyfriend." Ali explains sighing. "Farkle doesn't stop because of competition!!!" Farkle says. "I always thought he'd end up with back of the class Brenda, or Emmi." Riley says. "Yuck!!!" Farkle shouts. "The greatest mystery of the world is how you could like three totally different people the same." Cory says. "We're not that different." Riley says. "May I overstep my bounds sir?" Farkle asked. "You always do." Cory says changing the sign from mr. Matthews to Farkle. "Riley is the sun beautiful and bright, Maya is the night dark and mysterious, and the night has always been a mystery to me because I go to bed at 7:30, Ali is the fire beautiful, bright, mysterious, and dangerous all at once, she makes things more interesting and fun." Farkle says before doing his signature phrase. Before taking his seat. "Okay so history, history shows that bad things happen when you don't know who you are," the door opens to reveal subway boy, "who are you I don't know who you are?" Cory asks. "Subway boy." Riley says excitedly. "Oh really I thought it was Santa Claus."Ali says rolling her eyes. "No it's subway boy we just saw him this morning." Riley says clearly not getting the sarcasm. I roll my eyes. "Lucas Friar from Austin, Texas." Cory said. He nodded. "Take a seat at the desk behind Ethan and Ali." Cory says. Lucas took the seat next to Farkle. "No the other seat," Ali starts, "that seat is where Ethan goes when I kick him out." Lucas nodded moving to the seat behind me.
Emmi POV

I sat in the cafeteria with my bff Kelly. We walked into Mr. Matthews' class. He's my least favorite teacher, he gave Ali and her friends the most special treatment. If you aren't in their friend group you aren't important. I pass a note to Ali's boyfriend, Ethan. They were a power couple that I'm determined to end. Besides an orphaned girl from Spain doesn't deserve happiness, she's lucky mom took her in even if it was as just a servant. I sighed as a cute new kid walked into the class. I know I don't stand a chance he and Riley will totally be together leaving me totally boyfriendless. Stuff got super boring fast, Maya had an anti home work strike. Keisha and I left the school after that to go home. I go to my house knowing that Ali would soon be home to do my laundry and clean my room.
