*Flashback*

"Where is Daniel?" I asked the four boys in the living room. They looked at each other and nodded.

"He's upstairs with Katy." Jonah spoke and smiled a little. I nodded.

"Thanks, Jonah." I placed my purse on the table and made my way upstairs.

Katy.

Katy Kirsten. Daniel's girl bestfriend. They're close. They've always been. I had always some feeling katy likes him more than just a friend, but Daniel always told me I was worrying way too much about it. He told me I was special. The only girl on his mind, and in his world.

He told me loved me. Only me and all of me.

I guess he lied. He always did.

They were on the bed. Daniel was holding her. He had her pinned down on the bed and they were laughing. Their laughter softened and there was only silence to be heard. I watched as Daniel leaned down, closer to her face. He softly planted his lips on hers.

They kissed.

It wasn't an regular kiss. Not the ones he gave me.

It was passionate.

Meaningful.

He loves her. He always did, and still does.

I turned around and quietly closed the door behind me. I walked downstairs and grabbed my purse before opening the front door, ready to leave.

"Mia? Where are you going? You just got here." Corbyn looked confused at me, the rest of the boys trailing behind him with the same face expression. "And where is Daniel?"

"He is busy." I simply answered. I wanted to turn again when I got pulled back.

"Your eyes....w-what happened?" I looked into the mirror. My eyes were darker than usual. I could see pain in my reflection.

"Daniel discovered something. That's why I'm leaving." I breathed out.

"What do you mean? What did he discover then?" I let out a small sigh.

"He will tell you himself." I answered. I really wanted to leave, but of course faith wouldn't let me.

"Mia?" I heard a familair voice. "Hey, why didn't you tell me you were coming over? I would've planned something for us to do today." I watched as Daniel walked up to me, a smile on his face as he tried to kiss me. I dodged it and pushed him away from me, slightly. "What's wrong? And what's with your eyes? Do you feel sick? Do you need to lay down?" He tried to grab my arm, but I pulled it back. I noticed Katy hiding behind Zach on the few last steps of the staircase.

She watched me.

Like she knew I'd seen it and I was about to explode.

"I'm fine. You should go back to Katy. You two belong to each other. Not you and me." His eyes turned into confusing and hurt. "I saw you. You and Katy. The kiss you two shared.....it looked like it meant something to the both of you. I don't want to come between that. Coming between something that could really work out."

"What are you trying to say?" He asked, still full in confusement.

"What I'm trying to say is.....I break up with you." His eyes got watery while mine stayed dry. It was like I had no feelings. No emotions, for a second.

"Mia.....don't. It was just a kiss." Daniel tried.

"Well, not for you, Daniel. Don't try to deny it. You liked it. And so did she." He sighed and looked down, a few little teardrops leaving his eyes. "I'm sorry Daniel, but this is better for the both of us. For me, you, and even Katy."

"Mia-" He tried.

"Thank you, for our year together. It was amazing." I paused and looked at everyone. "Bye guys, bye Katy, take good care of him. Enjoy every single day with him. I mean it." I made up a smile and waved at the boys, even to Katy, before I walked out. I ignored Daniel, calling my name. I closed the door behind me and leaned a little against it. I could feel Daniel's body on the other side of the door. I don't know how, I just felt it. I turned to the door, my hand sliding down against it before slowly walking away.

Love isn't good for me.

I'm not meant to show my feelings.

I need to change.
