The next morning, I woke up at 5:30 when my phone went off, I looked around to see that there was a digital clock that I don't remember putting on my nightstand, 'Dad,' I thought fondly as he was always thinking ahead, 'must have put it in while I was sleeping so soundly.' I then got off my bed to do some stretches afterward, I grab my clothes that I intend to wear and went to take a lukewarm shower.

I took a long lukewarm shower before getting dress in my Arizona black pants with extra pockets and a simple tannish-brown shirt, I then went back to my room to get my backpack packed when I notice it wasn't where I left it, looking around I see it on my chair already half pack. 'Dad, always looking out for me,' I thought fondly, I went over to make sure he packed the right things.

I shifted through my bag checking on what my dad had packed: a five-subject notebook, pen, pencil, and a highlighter, 'Thanks, Dad,' I thought as I zipped it up, grabbed my thin white sweater putting it on. I then went to unplug my tablet and phone and headed down to the kitchen when I read the newly put clock – 6:10. I see that I still have plenty of time to cook breakfast before it was time for me to start my first day of school.

I poke around the kitchen looking for something easy and quick to make when I found in one of the cupboards a pancake mix. I grabbed it along with a medium-size bowl, a cup of water and mix it into a batter. After the batter was ready, I turned on the stove to heat the skillet pan that I grabbed along with a no-stick cooking spray and start cooking my pancake just in time to hear my dad coming down the stairs as it was now 6:45.

He enters the kitchen already dressed in his dark blue uniform and hung his holster up on the coat rack before coming in. "Morning Bells," he said grabbing two glasses of orange juice along with the maple sugar-free syrup and butter from the refrigerator, then got his plate of pancake.

"Morning dad," I said just finish making the last of the batter for my pancake, "Thanks for the new clock and half packing my bag last night."

"You're welcome, it's the least I could do since you ran back for my gas when you forgot," he teases me, "oh, yeah... I know you ask one of my buddies to bring in your truck and car," he paused wondering how he was going to tell her that he already bought her a truck, 'I'll just be blunt.' he thought.

"Yes," I asked curiously tilting my head in puzzlement. 'Okay... he's being delicate or is he going to be blunt...?'

He then just tosses me a set of keys to me, "Here are your keys, I bought you a good truck, you know from Billy?"

"Um, thanks... how good is the truck?" I asked, 'Who? Billy? Who's Billy?' I thought, as I put the keys on the table that I caught with my reflex, I continue to eat my breakfast before heading off to school for my first day.

"Billy Black is from La Push, La Push is a Native American reservation," he explained before leaving for work. "And the truck is parked out front by my truck, enjoy your day at school, Bells."

"Be safe," I shouted out to him even though it wasn't necessary as he was not doing a very dangerous line of work like hunting vampires or anything from the Night World.

"Always." He answered before the door shut closed.

I grabbed my bag and got into my newly/old red pick-up truck that dad bought for me to use until my other vehicles get here. I drove the Chevy to Forks High School, looking around the parking lot looking for a place to park, I pulled into a space close to the gymnasium.
