After getting the confirmation on the after-school tutoring from Ms. Jaye, I turned around heading to the cafeteria, I got in line with the other student waiting for my turn. I soon came upon a lunch menu that shows what they are serving for the month, looking through my option, I decided that it was decent enough.

When it was my turn to order my food, I order chicken nuggets, a whole apple, and a bottle of water. Once I got my food, I looked around the lunchroom to see if I can find an unoccupied table so that way, I can check my phone for any info on what is going on back home with the other hunters. There was an empty table in the far corner tuck all by itself looking very inviting, I started to make my way in that direction when I heard, "Hey Bella!" from just to the side of me a little away from the table I was going to sit at.

I looked in that direction to see Jessica waving her hand enthusiastically, it was a wonder that she didn't hit her companion with her wild wide waving. I waved back, I started walking towards Jessica direction when I heard a male voice from behind me, "Hello." 

I turn around in time to see a hand thrust toward me, "I'm Mike and you're Isabella, right?" he introduces himself.

"Hi," I said, turning back around, I continue making my way to Jessica when Mike decided to get in my way, blocking off my sight from Jessica, who finally stop waving and had a constipated look, when I manage to get around Mike.

Mike's hand was still out hanging like a limp branch, so I just shook his hand, then corrected him, "Bella, nice to meet you, Mike." I said trying not to be rude and not to read what's on his mind since he was broadcasting his thoughts very loudly, I then continue walking over to Jessica.

As I was getting closer to the table, I notice Jessica's expression gotten excited, I was pretty much confused until she announces, "Bella! Come sit with me and Mike." Jessica said cheerfully.

'What the Fuck!' I thought as she thought was – as well – broadcasting loudly, 'I get to sit next to the sexy Mike, though I wish it didn't came attach to Bella, just to hang with him.' she thought.

'Glad to be of help, way to make a friend just to get a guy to talk to you,' I thought sarcastically, 'Ah, shit! Must I listen to his dirty thoughts about me?!' I thought just when I was about to agree with Jessica, Mike's thought was loud and clear again.

"Okay," I said not really having any choice, hiding my frown from appearing, at both their thought, I took a deep breath to help strengthen my shield to keep other thoughts from entering my mind.

Just as I sat down by Jessica, and Mike on the other side of me, Jessica introduces me to her friends, I then introduce myself, "Hi, everyone I'm Bella," I made the point of stressing my name, "it's nice to meet you." I said sitting down beside Jessica and Mike took the seat on the other side of me. I once again hid the frown.

We were all getting to know each other, who class I was going to be in next once lunch was over, after looking behind me when I felt my hunting instinct flared up, I once again saw 'the' vampire – more than one vampire coming in, I turn to Jessica, "Shit!" I said under my breath.

"Did you say something?" Jessica asked, turning her attention back to me after Eric shut Laura's idea down for the newspaper article they were working on.

"No, no I didn't," I answered, 'aah... might as well just ask' I thought, "Um, who are they?" I nodded in their direction indicating who I was talking about.

As they enter behind each other, Jessica introduces them with her bias, "Oh, they're the Cullen's, the big guy is Emmett, with him is Rosalie, the one who looks a lot in pain is Jasper, with him is Alice, and the gorgeous guy is Edward. They all are adopted by this Doctor – Dr. Cullen and his Wife – Mrs. Cullen." She said while eyeing them with jealousy.
