Chapter 5: The Masochistic Knight

Liam surveyed the area before seeing Kazuma talking to a tall blonde woman in yellow and gray armour with a model of a wing on one of the shoulders.

"Yo Kazuma, who's this?" Liam asks before being jumped on by the woman.
"Are you in this mans party?!" She asks very excited and seeming to be breathing fast.
"Uh, yeah." Liam replies, quite taken aback by the woman's behaviour.
"Great! Do you think you could me show him why I deserve to be in your party?!" The woman getting way too close to Liam's face.

Before Liam could respond, he noticed in the corner of his eye, Kazuma, who was violently shaking his head. "Ok, first, personal space please." He then lightly pushes her head away, "Second, this isn't exactly the best time, we just got back from fighting monsters an-"What Kind of monsters?!" Liam tried to politely refuse her offer but was interrupted by the woman at the mention of monsters.

This made Liam feel like he'd fucked up, a thought that was all but proved when he noticed Kazuma with his face buried into his hands. "Please tell me! Were they hard like a wall, or maybe slimy, were they sadistic or did they like to end the pain quickly, were they libido freaks or simply pain givers?! Oooh! They all sound like great options, please tell me!" The woman had jumped into huge detail about what the monsters could be like with her breath getting more raspy and irregular as she continued.

"Look, you're starting to scare me, anyway, like I was saying, we're tired and need rest, if you could come back in the morning, we'd appreciate it."
"Ah, sorry. I understand, I hope to see you this morning then." She apologises with a bow and putting her hands together at neck level before leaving.

"Fucking weirdo. You alright Kaz?"
"I told you not to call me that, yeah I'm fine, just a lot to deal with on your own."
"Actually, where are the others?"
"They went to buy food."
"Cool."

After they ate their dinner, they spent a few hours messing about before heading to bed. They were currently eating their breakfast at the guild.
Megumin, Liam and Kazuma were looking with bored faces at Aqua who was showing them her party tricks.
"Hey, how do you learn new skills?" Kazuma asks.
"Oh, you just need someone to show it to you and then you just need to save up the points." Megumin explains.
"What! No you don't, you just need to see the skill be used, then it'll show up on your card." Liam argues.

"I hate to intrude, but I'm back to see if I can join your party." The woman had appeared with a new person with white hair and a scar on her cheek.
"You said you nee-"We refuse!" Kazuma responded quickly, surprising the others, but not as much as how the woman responded. "Such a snap decision!" She exclaims in what seems to be ecstacy.

"Now now Darkness, that's not how you make friends." The woman next to her told her.
"Who are you?" Kazuma asks the white haired woman.
"My name's Chris, I'm Darkness' friend and, as you can see, a thief." The woman proudly says.
"What do you mean as you can see?! If anything you look like a cheap prostitute." Liam chips in.
"Hey! Ignoring him." She emphasis him to show her anger at the comment."I'm guessing you need to learn some new skills, I could teach you a thief skill in exchange for a drink." She directs the comment at Kazuma.
"What a low price! Deal! Get this woman an ice cold drink!"

Kazuma followed Chris and Darkness outside, Liam tagged along so he could add the skill to his skill tree.

"Now, there are many thief skills, such as
'Enemy Detection' and 'Lurk' but I would reccomend this one," She turns to face Liam, "Steal!"

A bright light fills the surrounding are and when it fades away, Liam's coin sack is in Chris' palm."Hey! Gimme that!" Liam grabs the sack from her and puts it back in his pocket.

"Wow, that's great!"
"I know, now try the skill out on me."
Kazuma then gets into a pose, pointing his arm at her and having his hand open, showing his palm. "Steal!" The light comes and goes. "Weird, unlike a coin pouch, these feel really soft." Kazuma opens his hand to reveal, "Panties, they're panties, I hit the jackpot! Woohoo!" Kazuma starts swinging them around madly while Chris is lightly crying with a red face, Darkness is blushing madly at the thought of being embarresed this badly. "Hey Kazuma stop. Give the poor girl her panties back." Liam says, feeling pity for the girl. "They're mine, they're all mine!" Kazuma shouts while completely ignoring Liam.
Liam proceeds to have The World grab them from out of his hand and give them to Chris, who quickly thanks him and goes to put them back on in an allyway. "For fucks sake Kazuma, you can be a massive shithead sometimes."

After they get back to the guild, Aqua and Megumin are surprised to see that Chris has tears in her eyes.

"What happened to her?" Megumin asks.
"Kazuma's new skill happened." Liam responds, "He used it and stole her underwear."
"Hey! I didn't pick what item I stole, it was by accident!"
"If you hadn't started swinging her underwear around, I would have said it was an accident."
"You monster." Aqua says while shivering from fright.

Once the tense moment sets, Kazuma tries once more to get rid of Darkness.
"Look Darkness, I know we may not look it, but we are going to defeat the demon king." This surprises the three that didn't know about this.
"This is perfect!" Darkness shouts in glee.

"Wait what?" Kazuma exclaims in surprise.
"You see, since olden times, it has been a female adventurers job to be the Demon King's erotic plaything. That alone makes it worthwhile to go!"

"Well that didn't work, what about you Megumin? You staying?" Liam asks.
"I will most definately be coming!" She says before jumping on the table. "There is no-one more deserving of my explosion magic then the Demon King!" Megumin shouts triumphantly.

"Now that I've heard all this, I've kinda got cold feet." Aqua says.
"Hey! You should be the most enthusiactic!" Kazuma shouts.

"Emergency quest! Emergency quest!" The speakers suddenly blared, gaining the attention of the party.
