Joey's POV
Jaime makes contact with me from across our circle of chairs. She holds up her phone and wiggles it a bit for emphasis. I get the hint, understanding what she wants me to do, and pull out my phone. I realize she's been texting me multiple times, spamming my phone. Yep, that's Jaime.
Jaime: answer the freaking phone!!!
Joey: what is it drama queen?
Jaime: Can you make sure she eats something healthy? And more food? I know all you're eating is junk food, you can't fool me. She's looking thinner and thinner every time I see her.
Joey: who? And why am I forcing them to eat healthy?
Jaime: Lauren! Duh! Cuz you're the one who eats with her! Double duh!
Joey: I mean I don't know when I eat with her other than lunch with everyone else but ok. And yea she is looking quite thin.
Jaime: what are you talking about?
Joey: what are you talking about?!?!
Jaime: dinner!!! When you guys have dinner together!!! Not in a date way just a friend way, even though it needs to be something more!
Joey: ok I don't have dinner with her why would you think that and Lauren is my best friend! I could never have her as more than just a friend!
Jaime: it's so obvious you guys would be like the cutest couple ever but whatever, Lauren said the reason she stopped eating breakfast was because she had dinner with you and you guys binged shit
Joey: I don't even see her after rehearsals, and I haven't seen her eat lunch either. Sooo...
Jaime: so therefore once I get Lauren alone she's dead. Can you talk to her please? Get her to eat? and I worried she might be doing some bad habits again
Joey: bad habits?
Jaime: yeah I don't want to say too much tho I want Lauren to tell you or us on her own unless things change
Joey: yeah I can talk to her
Jaime: thanks. Also. Fuck. Look up.
I do, and for a moment I'm frozen in shock. How dare Will show his face here! I look at Lauren, who looks just as shocked. Her expression quickly changes to one of fear when he looks at her. I look at Jaime, and she nods her head. I follow Lauren as she stands up to go for him, ignoring the questioning looks.
